Townside Festival Shopping Center has a variety of specialty shops for moderately-priced shopping. Vehicles can quickly enter and exit, and there is ample accessible parking. The parking lot is well-maintained with adequate signage and clean. The storefronts and adjoining walkways are also clean with stress-free walking. My first visit to this shopping center began nearly twenty years ago with the first of many family dinners at Montano's International and Gourmet Restaurant. In addition, Captain Party, a party supply shop, The Discovery Shop, a thrift shop benefitting The American Cancer, and EuroExclusives, a consignment shop, are long-time tenants. Newer additions include a barber, two paint stores, a flooring shop, a coin and collectible enterprise, an outdoor furniture store, and an ice cream shop. Although not part of the strip of shops, two stand-alone businesses add to the shopping attractiveness of TownSide Shopping Center. The Cook's Nook, north of the strip, is a woman-owned enterprise that stocks almost anything a cook or baker might need. Montana's Restaurant is there and the last time we ate there it was horrible. My husband's food looked like something they had scraped off of someone else's plate and onto his. It was disgusting. Read moreIt’s a little old and outdated the general size shape and layout of the shopping center it’s still a old fashioned strip mall and so the stores kind of reflect that like the Kroger isn’t a “super Kroger” with Starbucks and the huge deli/bakery/to go food options and section in it, it is just a plain small Kroger, and the shops are generally small boutiques and stuff but it’s a nice place to get your goods and products that you need especially if you live in the area, the insides of all the stores is modern and...
