Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Robinson Township

I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich, and when my order was ready almost instantly, I thought it was great service. However, when I got home and opened the sandwich, I was shocked to see that it looked like someone had taken a bite out of it!

I called the restaurant right away and was connected to the manager, hoping for a simple apology and a quick fix. Unfortunately, the experience only got worse. The manager was incredibly rude and dismissive, insisting that what I was saying wasn’t possible rather than apologizing. After some back and forth, he finally offered to replace the sandwich, but I would have to drive back to pick it up—a 10-minute trip each way.

But as the conversation went on, he then said they wouldn’t replace it after all, and that I could ‘do whatever I wanted.’ Throughout the call, he kept talking over me, repeatedly saying, ‘Listen!’ without allowing me to speak.

This was, without a doubt, one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had. A simple apology and genuine effort to make it right would have been appreciated. I hope the restaurant takes feedback like this seriously to improve how they handle customers...

Haven't been to a popeyes in a very long time so was excited to have one close open up. Since gf never had it decided to place like a sampler order we could share. We placed our order through their mobile app about 10 mins before we got there. Arrive and there's a line, no big deal was expected. Can't pick up mobile orders from inside so we wait. After around 25-30mins we get to the window. They give us our order and gf starts checking bag as I pull off and we're missing food, no Cajun fries and no mashed potatoes. Not sitting thru that line again say screw it and just drive home. The chicken sandwich was kinda okay chicken piece was small and soggy. The red beans and rice was decent. The so called "cajun" shrimp was sad, really sad I threw it away. The 2 piece chicken was the best part of the meal. Should've gotten the spicy tho as the mild was a lil bland, but it was nice and Crispy. Biscuits were tasty and I can't review there Cajun fries or mashed potatoes since I never recieved it or the dip for the shrimp. I may give them another try in a few weeks and get the spicy chicken sandwich, see if they can...

I am semi-regular at this location (once a week or 2), and it has certainly earned that status for me. I love the food, its always freshly prepared, and the service is very friendly and prompt (following the initial absurd waits that came when the restaurant first opened, due to demand).

The employee who does the recorded messages for the speaker (who I believe to be the manager) is particularly nice, but the rest of the staff are great as well.

I have had my reservations at certain points because many items often run out, but I recognize the difficulties of a currently slow supply chain in a new, high demand fast food restaurant, and there typically are great alternatives available. The shortage of fries helped me discover my new favorite Red beans and rice, which sounds horrid from a fast food place in theory, but is absolutely DELICIOUS and deserves a try. On other occasions they got my order wrong, but when I told them they were prompt to correct it, in an apologetic and friendly manner.

Overall, cannot recommend this place enough. Be patient with shortages and staff, the food will still turn...
