McDonald's — Restaurant in Rochester Hills

This store used to be excellent, as I've worked on 2nd or 3rd shift for years and have gone there periodically on my lunch. Well, the last 6 months or so the crew on 3rd shift have been horrible and the wait time quite often is ridiculous if you try to go there anywhere between 3 and 4am (that's whenever they actually decide to stay open between 2 and 4am) I get that stores (sometimes) are closed for maintenance or updates during that time period but, I highly doubt it happens as often as this store closes during those times.

It's more like they get too lazy to keep cooking the dinner menu menu those times, and decide to just close until 4am. If you're gonna be closing that often for some dumb reason or another, stop calling yourselves a 24 hour store.

And they used to be really good about keeping both lanes open late and or having cars pull up that are waiting for food so, the whole line isn't being held up. Well lately, the whole line is sitting there waiting forever instead of just having the cars waiting for food pull up and bringing it out to them. I don't normally blast places like this on reviews but, this happens way too often at this store when I'm on my lunch.

Update 11/10/20, 3am. I tried to go there again today (and yesterday too) on my lunch at apprx 2:45am since I work 3rd shift, and was again told they were closed for maintenance until 4am. This store needs to be immediately removed from the 24hour list and officially change its hours to reflect this because lately, they are NEVER in fact open 24 hours except maybe on the weekend if you're lucky, and it's getting ridiculous! I don't care what they say, no store has maintenance every day at that same time. What it is actually, they get too lazy to make dinner food until 4am like they're supposed to, and close until the next morning shift comes in...again because they're lazy. I don't ever blast places on ratings like this, because I don't like to be that guy, but this is happening way too often.

They need to seriously consider replacing their entire night shift crew because they suck. Or, don't say you're a 24/7 store when you're clearly not!

Update 11/16/2020, 4am...I'm told at this store once again on my lunch break that it's closed until 5am for "maintenance" ...yeah right! What it actually is (and they think they have everyone fooled) is that they get too lazy to actually cook more food and do their job, and just close until the next shift comes in. The sad thing is, this used to be a really good McDonald's and liked coming to this one because the orders were almost always right and rarely had to wait long...now it's horrible. And honestly, I don't why I still come here.

Update 12/7/2020 3:25am...Once again was told at this store "unfortunately we're closed for "maintenance" ( yeah right) until 4am. It's not maintenance this many times, all it is (and everyone knows it, but apparently they think we're all stupid) they get too lazy to do their job and keep making dinner for until the correct time (4am) and decide to close until the next shift shows up at 4am.

I'm at this point so fed up with this store I'm gonna find the corporate number and or email address and file a formal complaint!!! Which i have never done with any other company in my life. It's like "A" stop lying to people because you're lazy, "B" if you're gonna keep doing this, you may as well not be a 24 hour location anymore...because you...

Unfortunately, this is a second complaint of this McDonald location about their care for potential hazards to a child with low immune system. All allergic to apples. One of the many times of this same situation which I’ve already filed complaint with McDonald’s corporate headquarters. I placed the order specifically asking for no apples. My son is allergic when I receive my happy meal. I always look and there’s apples in the bag. The one specific employee who is a heavier set woman always extremely filthy with stains all over her shirt never has gloves not to be rude also has facial hair, which describes her to the T is very rude and when I bring up the fact that there is apples in my happy meal and I try returning the meal I’m told I can’t take that back. That’s fine. I understand my child allergic to apples. I can’t take the apples as I’m being polite about the whole thing. I’m very rudely being yelled by the one employee leave leave just go just go as I’m sitting trying to get my order corrected as McDonald’s or any other restaurant should be very aware that if documented properly which I am now doing and my son of his an allergic reaction whom is nonverbal autistic. I will have no other choice as I explained to corporate to contact my attorney and handover my documentation. As now I will be videotaping after I’m being rudely told to leave and take a item in my vehicle that could be deadly to my child which would bring serious heat on McDonald’s second complaint already of same issue reason why I now went to corporate office with the complaint next is contacting my show MIOSHA that I am more than positive once receive the complaint role pop up at this location and do whatever it is they do as far as guidelines being folded and employees following those guidelines set...

DO NOT GO HERE!!! If I could leave 0 stars I would have.They currently under construction so they only have a drive thru. And the workers have to walk up to your car for the payment and to give you the food. I just went there and I pulled up to Check my food, and OF COURSE they forgot some of my food. The drive thru was super long so I pulled around outside the coned fake drive thru, got out the car and started walking up to get the employees attention and this rude worker started yelling at me telling me I wasn't allowed to walk up. I said I was just trying to get my food t you forgot.. she was like you have to get in line. I said I'm not getting in that long line when I have hot food. And said they can bring it out to me. I sat and waited as I watched person after person get their food. I called inside explained the situation.. then some kid came out with my food and said it was against their policy to bring the food outside of the coned drive thru. He said the managers denied it.. and he just did it on his own. BUT THEY FORGOT THE FOOD.... The food is nasty.. the fries I got were cold and burnt.. the nuggets were hard.. This is the worse experience I've had. I will definitely not be going back to this location. They are closed 10/9-10/20, which I assume it's to finish the remodeling.. Maybe they should hire new employees...
