2 years ago I gave 5 stars to that place. Today I have to change it to 1 star. We ordered Cadillac Margaritas, and knowing it won't be strong enough, 2 more shots of tequila. Even with an extra shot it was not strong enough. For that combo of drinks we paid $33. We ordered steak fajitas, but she brought chicken fajitas and realized it in front of us, so we had to wait double time for food. My husband ate the half of beans and rice while waiting about 20 more minutes for food, and she never offered to give some more. Not that beans cost a lot, but it is just what I would do if my guest ate half of fajitas fillers while waiting because I messed up his order. After that she offered more margaritas and we agreed, but asked her to make it a little stronger. Well, our waitress made it and it was ice with amount about 1.5 table spoon of tequila, I watch her doing it. We paid $9.50 for each. Total bill is $92.22 (4 margaritas, 2 shots of tequila, dish for 2 and one soup). Disappointed a big time and will never come back. Not worth it at...
Read moreI really wish there was a way to leave a review without a star. We came into town to spend time with family. We had a group of 9 people including kids. They sat us down, only gave the kids a menu and didn’t say anything else and walked off. We sat there for almost 45 mins before we were made away of the scan menu feature instead of actual menus they bring to your table. It then took almost another 10 mins before she took our drink orders. Once we actually got food (An hour and a half later). The food tastes like my 10 year old cooked. The salsa has no flavor, the fajitas tasted like they were canned meat with taco seasoning and the chips are stale and old. My cousin had shrimp tacos, which tasted horrible but there were only 5 shrimps on ALL THREE TACOS. The waiter knocked that off the bill. But because of our table size they automatically charge you gratitude percentage, which for my families bill brought her tip to 14 bucks. We were there for 2 hours and we barely seen her. If you think about stopping in, don’t bother...
Read moreI was a little skeptical of coming here due to the reviews, but I'm glad I came, because the food was delicious.
The exterior isn't the prettiest thing to look at since the strip mall isn't relatively new-looking, but the interior is rather nice, albeit rather dark while eating. The corrugated metal paneling on the walls is not my favorite, but I really like how the interior looks overall.
For starters on the food, the salsa that came with the chips had a nice, savory tomato flavor. It was a nice little appetizer before the main course. I ordered the birria tacos for lunch.
I've had birria tacos before, and with that being said, these are pretty far up there. To me, birria has to have an intensely rich, beefy, umami flavor as soon as the smell hits your nose, and it did not fall short of that at all! I was very pleased with how it turned out. I just wish that I ordered more, because it was gone within minutes. If you don't know what to order, get the...
