I took my family to this Japanese steakhouse/hibachi Grill because the kids have never been there and Iâm not even sure if my wife has ever been to one. So I wanted them to have a very good first experience. I was nervous about it because I know that it is a newer place and at first seeing that it was in a strip mall I was a little concerned. However, the ambience atmosphere And friendliness of the staff, and the overall look of the restaurant is spectacular! We had a really good hibachi chef, and we will only referred to him by the hibachi chef with the red hat. He made my daughter laugh and my boys, chuckle and even got a smile out of my wife!    Read moreWanted to try the hibachi menu for some time. This is my first Japanese hibachi restaurant to taste. I had no idea what to expect or order.
When I entered , I loved the ambience and the welcoming smile of the people. We had a reservation so we were promptly seated in the hibachi grill counter. The hostess was kind to explain the options and took our order. The cook came in few minutes with the ingredients and started preparing with few acrobatic moves. Kids loved the fire. the sizzling vegetables and meat was well cooked. We had a fun time though short.
The food was good and to our liking. The sushi and rolls were good. The quantity of food for the grill was enough.

Our hibachi chef can't remember his name but will post a video of his cooking, was entertaining but looked a little disrespectful when tossing food into the people's mouth. We were sharing a hibachi table with 8 people and I am not sure how I will like the food to hit my eyebrows. I felt bad for the person who was there to enjoy the dinner. Also the chef is supposed to make it fun which he did minus the food tossing part. Quick question to the manager as a party of 4 we were charged an 18% gratuity tip. Is that normal for party of 4?
