I have been regular to this store since moved to this area last year. Everything was good but until we ordered a birthday cake for my kid this year. We made this order 5 days in advance, we got a call the previous day of the birthday saying that they cannot make this cake and want to cancel the order. Their printer was not working. I had to make frequent calls to them asking them to get help from their other Cold Stone stores to help with their printing. Then the owner called me and said they can get help from other stores but he cannot send one of his workers to pick the print for the cake. They made me to drive and pick the print and deliver to the store to complete the cake order. This was an unpleasant experience since I was busy with all other preparations for my kids birthday. The store is good, but one has to reconsider if they are planning to order a birthday cake...
Update based on owner's feedback: it was not about the money or discounts for the next visits. That's why I never accepted those discounts or free coupons. Yes, you might not have made me drive but what options did I have to get a cake ready within 24 hours? Read moreAs a loyal customer to this location, I was shocked to receive a phone call from the owner after I picked up my daughter's ice cream cake. I thought he was calling because the cake was not decorated correctly or to apologize that he had a child behind the counter. Instead, he wanted to tell me that he "doesn't appreciate me taking advantage of his employees by using a $3 off coupon.". At my Children's school, Baldwin Elementary, he advertised that for every signature cake a family bought he would donate $5 to the school.
After asking for clarification about what the problem was he said that he had to give that $5 out of his pocket. So why would an owner pass out coupons that advertises he will "donate $5" but then call to harass a loyal costumer who spends hundreds of dollars a year.

Pick up the items only to find that all we received were bowls of ice cream with barely any of the multiple items that were paid to be mixed in. I called and spoke with a very nice employee named Norah who was helping rectify the situation when Brandon, the so called manager, gets on the phone and tells me he was the one that made our order and “he knows how to make it correctly” and that I must be mistaken. He was a 100% jerk on the phone not wanting to help make it right or even apologize for it. Let’s not forget to mention that after I called and spoke to him, 23 more charges were attempted on the credit card that was used to place the order and I assure you, that is accurate to a T.
