In one word, underwhelming. I love the concept but the execution was lacking. First off, we got two dishes that were not what we ordered and they never brought the one that we had asked for even after we asked about it. The steak was a little tough, and everything lacked flavor. When the waitress brought our food and leaned over to set a plate down, her hair (which was down) got into the plates that hadn’t been set down yet. Highly recommend for a cozy date night or night out...

The drinks were underwhelming—watery and flavorless. We decided to take our chances and go upstairs to 1928. Drinks were better, atmosphere was fine, but the service and food was awful. We got two apps, the “smacked cukes”, which were basically fresh cucumbers with some unidentifiable sauce and sesame seeds, and “steak cubes,” which were underseasoned and overcooked. Overall, very disappointing experience all around. We will not...
