Museum Mayo Clinic Heritage Hall — Attraction in Rochester

We joined the free 10 am history tour. The volunteer guide was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic, and the tour was interesting. It included a walk through part of the Gonda and Plummer building. I suggest you arrive 30-60 minutes early at the Heritage Hall as there are several educational videos being played. A small exhibition gives insight into the Mayo family and clinic history. This prepares you for the tour. The tour itself takes about 1 hour. Many hotels provide free shuttle rides to the Gonda building. We decided to take our car, and there were no issues finding a parking spot in one of the public parking ramps. Parking is cheap, and no matter where you park, the Mayo clinic is within walking distance.
