I recently visited IChillyn Cafe with four kids in tow, and let me tell you, it was a treat for both young and old alike! We ordered two cotton candy smoothies, a s'mores taco ice cream, a hot fudge brownie sundae, and a Hawaiian smoothie. The portions of the ice cream were massive, easily capable of feeding an army!
One of the highlights of our visit was witnessing my nephew's valiant attempt at conquering a quarter of his ice cream brownie. I couldn't resist taking up the challenge and devouring the rest myself. The flavor was absolutely delicious, and the combination of the brownie, ice cream, and hot fudge was pure indulgence.
Despite the cafe being smaller in size, it was no surprise that it was bustling with activity during our visit. There was a line out the door, which resulted in a slightly longer wait than usual. However, given the quality of the cold treats we received, it was worth every extra minute. The ice cream arrived perfectly frozen, with nothing melted or compromised in any way.
One thing that struck me during our visit was the incredible loyalty and love that permeated the atmosphere of this family-oriented establishment. The staff was friendly and attentive, and I'd like to extend a special thank you to Mirna for her exceptional service. It's clear that the team at IChillyn Cafe takes pride in what they do, creating a warm and welcoming environment for all their patrons.
IChillyn Cafe has certainly won me over, and I will be returning more often in the future. If you're looking for a place that serves delectable treats with generous portions and a family-friendly atmosphere, this is the spot to visit. I highly recommend trying their cotton candy smoothies, s'mores taco ice cream, and hot fudge brownie sundae. Your taste buds will thank you, and the experience will leave you wanting more!
Thank you, IChillyn Cafe, for an unforgettable sweet...
Read morePlaced a $90 order through DoorDash. Starting with the churros: they’re very good but could have been a lot softer and had almost no cinnamon sugar coating. Bubble waffle: the waffle itself would have been delicious and the fruit was very fresh but they drenched it in Hershey’s bottle chocolate. All you could taste was chocolate which was bad enough, but worse, I asked for vanilla. Oreo crepe: decent but way too much chocolate.. Cannoli crepe: again way too much chocolate and the filling is like 2 inches thick. It was gross. But maybe others would like that. But we personally disliked it. Couldn’t even taste the crepe. Macaroons: out of stock. We were refunded for that. Strawberry boba tea: that was probably the best part of the entire order but they didn’t send a straw. I had straws at home but only regular size. Nothing big enough to suck up the boba so we had to use a spoon and the boba was super hard to scoop out which ruined pretty much the whole drinking boba experience. I really should have called and requested a refund for the entire order but it was last night so too late now. So disappointed because we are dessert fans over here and would definitely have made this a frequent stop if they made things right. Instead we will not be back. I’m out $100 (after tip and door dash fees) and left with a bad taste in my mouth (literally and...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I came here to try the desserts. I assumed it would be like Astoria Bakery and house made. We ordered an eclair, the lava cake and 2 chais. The eclair came out and it was 6 Wholesale refrigerated mini eclairs on a plate with chocolate syrup drizzled on top. My boyfriend and I were shocked… $7 for something I can buy at Costco. His lava cake came out it tasted like a microwave cake that u would get in a TV dinner microwaved so long that the moisture had been sucked out with chocolate syrup and a scoop of ok tasting ice cream. He had been talking up the lava cakes from Dominos pizza all day and I felt so bad making him go here with me and getting something so bad compared to fast food dessert. The chai was bagged hot tea that she added vanilla monin syrup to and we added our own milk to when we got home. Also disappointing. If u are going to have a dessert spot, u should probably care about what your serving. This place reminds me of a place that Gordon Ramsey would show up to and find the owners uninspired and giving up. That was the vibe when we were...
