Poor service when ordering. When I was saying my order the guy asked immediately without giving pause after every item if that was it. I ordered a number 5 which is a meal and he rang it up as a 10 pc mcnugget meaning I didn't get the fries with that meal, I wanted a large fry on top of that meal so I understand if there was confusion with ordering but that wasn't the only thing wrong with my order unfortunately. With those nuggets he didn't ask me if I wanted dipping sauce or what kind, he just rang me up for BBQ. The ink on the receipt is so bad and splotchy I had a hard time seeing what was put down and what I was charged for as well as having a hard time seeing the full address of the specific McDonald's. Now this McDonald's was in a rush and I understand how things can get confusing as I work in fast food myself but I was disappointed when the teenager taking my order didn't repeat it for me to confirm what was ordered. I don't want to be rude I am just truly trying to give a review so this can be improved in the future. I have attached a picture of my receipt, the receipt should read : 2 happy meal cheeseburgers with only ketchup and pickles, apple slices, 2 xs dr.peppers. 1 happy meal cheese burger with only ketchup, xs dr.pepper. Read moreIn general I like this McDonalds. They're professional and the food's is as expected.
But the wait is always long at mealtimes, and today when I asked for a large iced mocha with no ice (because they bury your itty bitty amount of beverage in a massive pile of ice). I was unapoletically given this small mocha and was informed that it is a "large mocha" since they "normally put a whole lot of ice in, and this one does not have ice." Yes, you do put a LOT of ice in. And that's why I didn't want any.
This is an absurd response to my request, and with the app down I've been unable to get any punches for my drinks for weeks now. Technically, they would owe me at least a couple of free drinks by now if their app was up. Instead, this tiny drink is my "large," and I will not be back to this McDonalds again. Shame since they're so close by and I love the coffee, but if there's no way to get any drink in your $5 drink then what's the point??
Just like McDonalds is looking out for their bottom line I am too. At the real coffee places I go to (gas stations also) no one forces me to downgrade two sizes, for the same cost, just to have a drink without ice.. they do the reasonable thing and serve or sell the correct size without a heap of ice.

Read moreI still can’t believe the experience I had tonight. I placed a mobile order and I specifically asked for NO SALT on my Quarter Pounder and Fries. I got home and dug my hands in the bag trusting that my fries were without salt and was immediately disappointed. Then I was like “Okay, I guess I’m not going to eat these salty things.” Then I opened my burger and took one bite and said to myself, “I should’ve cooked myself dinner even though I super exhausted.” The meat was super salty and then I got sick to my stomach losing my appetite. I googled and called the restaurant asking for a manager or assistant manager. The person that answered the phone made me feel like they didn’t understand me or I was a lier. I explained that I’m super tired and stressed to return my ruined dinner. Then they rudely hung the phone up on me. I’m not mad at a human mistake, but I’m disappointed in the way I’ve been treated as a customer. I don’t have the energy to call corporate just like I didn’t have the time to double back to the restaurant to get a repeat order.
