Rosati's Pizza — Restaurant in Rochester

It took 3 tries for us to successfully get a Chicago Style deep dish from Rosati's. like all new restaurants in Rochester, everybody in town tries it at the same time so it was just packed with orders.

Anyway, the pizza was worth the wait. It wasn't the best Chicago style pizza I've ever had as it could use more red pepper and oregano, but it is good and a decent value as well. I do think the pizza suffers from being in a cardboard box as the steam generated causes the crust to soften instead of being slightly crunchy. That's why it's 4 instead of 5 stars.

I want to make a shout out to ether the manager, or owner who was there when I was picking up my pizza. An employee came in who had apparently been handing out fliers while not on the clock. The manager/owner asked the employee if they were on the clock, and when they found out they employee was working off the clock they insisted that the timesheet be corrected, even though the employee was insisting that it was fine.

In today's world it is rare to see management who takes care of employees instead of taking advantage of employees.

Good management and food means I will be putting Rosati's on my short list of go-to...

Had the rudest delivery person that I’ve experienced a very long time. He refused to bring the food up to my apartment. He called me and said I’m in the lobby. I said I live in an apartment. Can you bring it up and he said nope and I said oh so you’re gonna make me come down and get it and he said yep. That was it. So I come down to get my food and he makes me take the food out of his delivery black bag that he has been touching and everyone uses to deliver food in. I feel like that’s pretty disgusting. The restaurant business is extremely competitive and you’re making your company look bad by being rude to customers. I have free delivery with other delivery apps And I had to pay five dollars for your delivery because I chose this restaurant because the pizza is pretty decent but that was a horrible experience. Get an attitude adjustment dude. Sally, the pizza wasn’t very good either there was so much sauce. It was just falling off and I’d feel like there were hardly any toppings that I paid extra for also, the mozzarella sticks. A couple weeks ago I ordered the chicken parm for delivery (they only charge 3$ for delivery!). I ordered from work so I'm not always able to sit down and eat when I get the food delivered. This was the hottest delivery order I've ever gotten from anywhere! The chicken was still crispy and I really liked the marina, it had thicker cut tomatoes then every other place, and covered in high quality mozzarella. However last week I ordered a Chicago style pizza. It costs 20$ for just the pizza then 3$ per topping. I choose meatball as my topping and there was almost no meatball what so ever. The pizza was nothing special. The crust is weird, don't know how else to explain it. The pizza itself had almost no flavor, maybe because they're so stingy with toppings.
