Operated by Angel and Elena Ruelas—who already run several successful Minnesota locations and food trucks—this new downtown outpost brings authentic Mexican street food to the area .
The menu is a treasure trove of bold and flavorful options. Guests can enjoy street tacos, birria tacos with consommé, walking tacos, street nachos, tortas, and a lineup of colossal 14-inch burritos—including wet burritos, Philly-style, Cali, and chile verde varieties . Read moreve been to this taco shop four times in the past two weeks, and it’s quickly become one of my favorite spots. The first couple of times, I stuck with three tacos al pastor — they were so good I couldn’t bring myself to order anything else. But on my last visit, I decided to mix it up and tried one shrimp, one birria, and one pastor. All I can say is: excellent, excellent!
I’m originally from Chicago, and I can honestly say the tacos here surpass many of the restaurants I’ve tried back home. That’s saying something.
