I went for the first time and ordered a simple bowl called the Marley Bowl which consists of banana, granola, peanut butter, and hemp seeds. I asked for no hemp seeds. When I get my bowl I have some confusion because my bowl has not only seeds but coconut flakes on it. I bring it back to the counter and tell the girl I’m sorry but the bowl I ordered isn’t suppose to have coconut on it and I also asked for no hemp seeds. Her only response to this was to tell me a bit snidely that those are chia seeds. I go, okay well I don’t want those either I’m sorry. I then get my second bowl that is clearly topped with almond butter, which is clearly not what my bowl is suppose to have. I’m quite embarrassed and I really hate sending things back but I go back up and apologize to the same girl again and tell her my bowl is suppose to have peanut butter not almond butter. I say I’m sorry I just hate almond butter and won’t eat it so that I guess if I could just get my money back that would just be fine and I’ll go without a bowl today. She doesn’t have much to say as she pulls out the money from the register when I say I ordered the Marley bowl. She goes our ticket in the back says Wolfpack which is a totally different bowl. I go I’m sorry but I really ordered the Marley bowl she goes that’s not what it says. Instead of arguing with her I left and I was the one wrongly feeling embarrassed. Read moreI have to say I love how clean the place is . The girls are nice but for some reason they never move with urgency . It can literally be six customers and they move so slow , stop to attend their phone calls and it creates such a longer wait . The reason for my review however is my purchase . I’m repetitive so I’m always getting the same thing , however the last 4 times one ingredient from what I purchase wasn’t available and they didn’t mention it they either overloaded my item with another of something or just plain ole did not mention it and gave me the item incomplete . I think it’s unfair to keep paying for something that I’m not actually getting and it’s not that they’re finding out midway they already know so you should be asking the customer if they still want the item and not assume they want you to overload it with something else . I've been to some other acai places and found it to be a waste of my money and I wasn't really into it. However, my little sister wouldn't stop begging me so I was like whatever, I'll take you just stop bothering me. I was skeptical that it was real açai berries being used, but it turns out they're legit organic berries sourced from Brazil, which is cool. The bowl was pricey at 11 bucks, but totally worth it to get fresh mangos and blue berries and strawberries in the middle of winter I'm New Jersey. It was also super filling (I'm a 250 lb guy).
