We pulled in around 1050-1055 and put our order in. The lady repeated the order wrong and I had to correct her, no big deal. Than we get to the window where the lady gave us our diet cokes. We put the straws in and started to drink our cold sodas while waiting for the food. The diet coke was flat, not little carbonated, no carbonation at all. So we wait a couple minutes until she comes to the window (which took way longer than it should have for our food) and inform her she might want to check the CO2. She tells us we are wrong and the soda is fine. I say taste it, and she does so. Says that's how diet soda is supposed to be. I say ma'am is has zero carbonation. Now she starts to become rude telling us we are wrong and asks well what should I do. I said may we please have a lemonade to which she gives a big sigh and rolls her eyes as if she's annoyed. She says well to know it's an upcharge I said no problem. She says it's cash only and I said to her absolutely not I don't have cash ( at this point I was shocked she was even charging me the upcharge). So visibly and audibly gets even more annoyed and gies me the total for the upcharge which I give her my card for. She than gives us drinks with lids that are not capable of holding straws and the lemonade will spill out of but we figure let's just get out of here because I had straws in the glove box. After that we drove off to park and eat our food. The sandwiches had such small and thin pieces of chicken it is embarrassing. Everything tastes great and the fries and potato cakes were fine. I used to love Arby's and don't get to them often because there are so few. If this keeps up this way your numbers are going to dwindle further. Needless to say I will no longer be treating myself from time to time with the closest Arby's to me. This location over a year or two was absolutely great, I don't know what changed but it's embarrassing. Over all very bad experience and the lady at the window was rude af. For a 35 dollar fast food order I will never be returning here. Arby's used to be something I looked forward to as this is the closest one and it's not very close. This location used to be great but over the last year or two it had gone...
Read moreI loved going to this Arby's but it's going downhill- and fast. Ordered through the drive through and was met with a young woman of Indian descent; pretty face, but ugly attitude. I was already uneasy when she couldn't repeat my simple order correctly 3 times, but when she handed us our drinks (soda) it was COMPLETELY flat. We politely told her and asked if we can replace it with a non carbonated drink like an iced tea or a lemonade. She literally argued with us saying it was fine even after trying it herself, and re-poured us the exact same liquid acting like it was magically fixed. We then insisted that she replace the drink, which was met with reluctance and attitude. Then she had the gall to up-charge us for it! It's not my fault that this staff didn't replace their CO2 in their machines.. We gave her a debit card to charge and she argued, trying to get us to give her cash instead (which I truly believe she was going to pocket for herself) but we told her we didn't have any cash, and she charged for the lemonade begrudgingly as if I made her do it?!
THEN to top it off she gave us the lemonade with the wrong top, and no straw. At this point I was already frustrated so we left. And now for the cherry on top, I open my box for my chicken sandwich and this is what I was met with (photo).. are you kidding me?! My meal cost me almost $40 and the chicken in my sandwich, which is the main protein isn't even bigger than a slice of kraft cheese?! Unbelievable. I will never return. Arby's you let...
Read moreI've never been a big Arby's fan but today I was looking for something nearby that was inexpensive and quick. I ordered the buffalo chicken meal. After three bites, I noticed that the chicken was undercooked with obvious red meat in between the breading. I brought it inside to show the cashier. He apologized for the sandwich and offered me another item. I asked for the beef and cheddar sandwich. He offered to make it a double for me. After taking two bites of that sandwich, I noticed a shiny green spot on the pale roast beef. I brought it back inside to show the cashier again. Seeing that I was having no luck with the meat, I was thinking that I would have that sandwich replaced with a milk shake and curly fries. The cashier however was adamant that there was nothing wrong with the sandwich. He said that the meat is fresh and cooked daily. He could easily see the green spot on the meat I was referring to. I simply said okay and threw away my order. I will go without eating before going to an Arby's again. This Arby's is located on rt 46 in Rockaway, NJ. If you're looking for fast food in that area, you will be better off stopping at the McDonald's or KFC right next to this...
