Arico's Riverside Shoppe — Restaurant in Rockaway

My wife and I had the pleasure of breakfast last Saturday at the Riverside Shoppe in Rockaway. I had the Skippy. It came on a large platter with sausage, Taylor ham, bacon, French toast, pancakes, and eggs, cooked to perfection. I was barely able to finish all of it. I also had an excellent coffee and a large orange juice that tasted fresh squeezed. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her three egg omelet with mushroom, onion, and cheese. Our server was friendly and the food came out quickly. She was very attentive and kept my coffee cup fresh throughout our meal. The ambience of the newly renovated Shoppe enhanced our dining experience. The decor features vintage photographs and memorabilia. The value is excellent. The pricing is low by today's standards. First time there 30 minutes into waiting for breakfast I got asked what I ordered 10 minutes later got my tuna melt the cheese was hard and not melted….

Second time there only waited 15 minutes to get food but only my friend received her meal I didn’t get mine until she finished

Third time I went there the food came out on time I guess because I was the only person there but the ham tasted expired and the pancakes and French toast were wetter than my sunny side up eggs it was like eating raw dough

We were incredibly fortunate to partner with Riverside Shoppe over the last few weeks to create packaged meals we could serve at three separate local events. The team could not have been more helpful to partner with. The quality of the boxed meals they put together went above and beyond what we were hoping to be able to serve. The food was fresh, plentiful, and delicious. The staff was incredibly friendly, patient, and knowledgeable as we navigated our needs between events.
