Ok, Calling all you foodies out here in Rockford and from everywhere, please listen very carefully, ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL PASTRIES!!!!!! SWEET AND SAVORY TOO! JUST AMAZING, AMAZING, AMAZING!!! If you haven't tried Banana Cherry Bakery yet, you are so missing out! We went for the first time today and almost bought one of everything. The buttery, flaky layers of the laminated dough on the pastries and the fillings, I'm telling you to get in your car and go now! They are huge. I can't believe that we never stopped in here and tried them up until now. We just drove by and didn't know that this was a complete gem of a bakery here in our hometown. They are open only for now, on Thursday's, Friday's and Saturday's. So buy extras for the rest of the week. Lol. Don't forget the fresh baked bread too. You will have to go in and get a cronut to find out what it is. I'm going to keep that one a secret. They have morning buns, cinnamon rolls, scones, pain au chocolate, muffins, almond cream filled chocolate chip pastries, english meat pies and sausage rolls too. Omg, so much to mention.
