Da Catch Fish & Chicken — Restaurant in Rockford Township

I love da Catch I’m a frequent buyer from all locations around town. Tonight could’ve been a five star bc the chicken was great. The Service though? I almost forgot I was a lady. Not only does it say it comes with jalapeños and onions but to my surprise I didn’t get them. I called before my order was made to make sure it came with tortillas because As u can see it doesn’t say that it does but I remember it does come. So the nice young lady working tonight was very nice and confirmed with me that it did come with corn tortillas and the jalapeños and onions so I was just making sure that I was getting my tortillas never questioned the onions or the jalapeños because it says it on here now we fast-forward when my order got delivered and I didn’t get my onion and jalapeños. I wasn’t even mad. I’m thinking it can be fixed. Everything is fixable. I call. I even placed an order for an individual pop so that they can put my onions and jalapeños with that order so I called the restaurant, but to my surprise, different person answered a male this time and caught an extreme attitude with me from the jump saying how only the family chicken comes with the jalapeños and onions, and just not trying to even hear me out cutting me off in the middle of my sentence which just basically drove me to hang the phone up and now I am sitting here looking at my chicken and I can’t eat it because I don’t have my jalapeños that I even asked the young lady that I got on the phone with to see if she could put some extra jalapeños in my order because she said there was no hot sauce like I’m so disappointed right now to the point I’m actually writing this review. We tried this place out for the first time and got the $11.99 dinners with the catfish nuggets and perch. Also got catfish nuggets with chicken tenders. The dinners came with fries. We liked the food, especially since it was cooked fresh to order. We didn't mind waiting 10 min. The only thing I would change or make a suggestion of to the owners, would be to offer fresh housemade tarter sauce in small containers. It's super easy to make and cheap for the ingredients, cost wise. It also would be a nice accent to dip the fish into. I think that people would really love that! The packets of tarter sauce are thin and the consistency of the sauce is watery and doesn't taste that great pairing it with your fish. Coming from being in Culinary school, I have made my own tarter sauce at home and the fresh lemon in it mixed with fresh mayo, pickles, herbs and seasonings is a total game changer! Up until today I really enjoyed dealing with this place. I went in tonight and there is a girl name Ali Locascio who works there. She made everyone be rude to me and I was called out of my name by the other girl working they made me wait a very long time for my food and to top it off she is a thief. I will not go back after the way I was treated. I had a job to do and she Is still a child so she acted as such but so long ad she's employed I will make sure everyone knows all about the way this place treats people just because one person says they should. Very unprofessional. Very dissatisfied. It's a shame to because i used to enjoy going here. But I will not be called out of my name by anyone.
