Ordered two shrimp alfreado dinners tonight. Literally BOTH ended up in the trash! If I'm being generous there was about 1-2 tablespoons of sauce on each dinner. Not enough to even cover the shrimp let alone the pasta. We definitely will not ever order take out here again, if we return at all, which is highly unlikely. This is the second bad experience in the past two months or so from this location. Very disappointing and frustrating that people can no longer even take a little pride in the quality of their work these days. Anyway, just fair warning to others...you may not want to order at this location for carry-out, at least. If you dine in you're able to have them bring you more sauce at least, but once you're already home, nobody is likely to want to go back out again. So, after the last two take out experiences being bad, we definitely will not be returning to this location, maybe not to any at all. I rated the atmosphere just because you kind of have to and the service I rated poorly because the server who packages the to go items up has a responsibility to do a better job at quality checks before sending the package home with the customer. I worked in the restaurant or bar (with full food menus) industry for over 40 years and would NEVER have sent that home as an acceptable product.
UPDATE PER THIS REVIEW: I received a very nice call today responding to my above listed review. I have to commend Olive Garden now for actually following up with their reviews. They not only apologize for our poor experiencebut they also are emailing me a gift card to make up for it as well. I spent more than 40 years in the food service industry and I always took pride in my customer service skills- as I knew without my customers I would not have a job. They did precisely what I would have done when seeing such a review and I am happy that they followed through and did the right thing. Many companies may not do this, but they did and I am very grateful for both the call and the gift card to make up for what ended up going in the trash. I know many places may not have done the right thing, but they did and I am very appreciative that they did. Thank you, Olive Garden- I appreciate your follow through. We will definitely look forward to...
Read moreI was dining in and my meal was going ok until I overheard a Manager crawl all over a busser. This young man was all over the dining room floor, staying busy, helping where he could, cleaning up without being told to do so, as a matter of fact I was thinking the workforce could use more hard working people like this. Then the manager came up, cussed him out, told him that he doesn't know how to do his job, the manager (in my opinion a woman on a power trip) just chewed this kid up one side and down the other. Funny enough he was the only kid working while you had a few others just standing around. I didnt even finish my meal. I asked for my check, paid, and left. I will never come back to any olive garden anywhere. How can you treat your one working busser so terribly and let the others stand around? Favoritism and nepotism is alive and thriving here. An absolute disgusting act from any manager. If they manager their employees this way I hate to see how they manage the food they are serving people. I dont care how good the food is, if you treat your staff this poorly I want nothing to do with the business. Sadly today's kids do not know their rights as employees. Honestly, if this young man knew his rights he could sue the company and be rather wealthy. Hey olive garden HR, you got some real shady stuff happening at this location you just may want to investigate. I heard the boss yell at this young man. His name was Caleb. The managers here all need to be fired. I even heard one server talk about getting written up for something that no one else gets into trouble for. Why in the world isn't it the same for all people across the board? Where is your ethics as a company? I've told several of my friends about my visit. They are also appalled. Hey Caleb, if you ever see this post I would like to offer you a job. I seen you go above and beyond, I seen you stay focused and on task. You didn't deserve such treatment. You deserve better than this. Come...
Read moreMe and my significant other had the worst experience at Olive Garden. This is the last thing we expected from this place because I’ve been going to this location for years… We got seated fast but it took us a while to get a waitress. We ordered everything at the same time so the waiter doesn’t have to worry and knows what we want already. It took a really long time for us to get our drinks. Our waiter brought out our soup and salad first without drinks, and we had to ask another waiter to see where our waiter was. our original waiter finally brought our drinks, she just dropped them off and didn’t bother to ask if we needed anything else she didn’t even give us straws so we had to ask another waiter for straws as well. I ordered for a plain water, and I don’t know why I had a lemon in it…A few minutes pass by and our server finally came up to us and asked if we were OK and she said that her entrees will be out in a few minutes. Once our entree’s came out, I was given the wrong order. Our waiter had to ask another person to cover for them to get my correct entrée. I’m glad that they asked a different waiter because the other waiter seemed more concerned for our service. Once we got the correct food I also noticed that it was it wasn’t fresh and it looked like it was just sitting in the back for a while and nobody just seemed interested to give our food at the time that it was put out. We lost our appetite at that point. One last thing, when our waiter brought out our soup and salad I couldn’t help to notice that the plates smelled really bad and that soup was pretty cold but she just seemed in a hurry and didn’t bother to ask if everything looked good or if we wanted at least cheese on a salad like we usually get asked. The only excuse that the waiter had was that they were in a hurry running back-and-forth but the restaurant was not even busy at the time. Never...
