While passing through, we stopped at this restaurant to get dinner. Outside of the store on the side walk I met a woman in tears who was upset because she needed a couple of dollars to get on the bus to make it to the shelter. It was 36 degrees outside. "I don't want to sleep outside" she sobbed. She asked me the time so she could catch the bus. I helped her. I walked in the restaurant and a shift lead asked me what she had said to me and if she had asked me for money. When I asked why, she said that the lady had been "with" someone who passed out in the bathroom 2 months before. Not her, but with someone else. This is harrassment and discrimination. I did nothing to be asked these questions, other than to help someone less privledged than me. The woman did nothing but speak to me (on public property). This restaurant is discriminatory, and the staff clearly thinks it's okay to harrass the homeless, and question those who would help them. NOT A GOOD...
Read moreI visited this fast food restaurant for the first time last week, and it was such a pleasant surprise. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a friendly staff member who directed me to the counter and took my order. The menu had a great selection, from burgers to wraps to salads, and I appreciate that they have a variety of healthier options for those who want something lighter. I went for their classic cheeseburger, and it did not disappoint. The beef patty was cooked perfectly, and the combination of fresh lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and special sauce was amazing. The fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, just the way I like them. I also tried one of their smoothies, and it was refreshing and delicious. The atmosphere inside was bright and clean, with plenty of seating, so it was easy to relax and enjoy my meal. I will definitely be returning...
Read moreOrdered take out to take back to my hotel to eat since it was close to closing time. Wasn't given even a plastic fork to eat with, so I asked if I could get one. Employee told me they didn't have any plastic silverware to hand out. My first thought was.....what? But I just took my food and left thinking about how I was going to eat. Ended up stopping by a gas station to buy some overpriced plastic silverware so I could eat. What kind of place that serves pasta in a bowl doesn't have anything to give a customer to eat with? Not everyone that takes their food to go is going home to eat it. Definitely won't be going here again when I come back and have to stay in a hotel again. Mac and cheese was good, but rice crispy treat was really on...
