Firehouse Subs State Street — Restaurant in Rockford Township

Though I have no complaints about the food, the sandwiches have always been great, I have a serious problem with a restaurant that sells you gift cards and then doesn't allow you to use them, I have found 3 other people that have had the same experience, my wife bought me one last October for my birthday, my son had received one from someone at work, and he told me two other people had the same problem, you get their card, but when you try to use it, their card scanner won't accept it, my son and I both ordered sandwiches at different times ,but when the cards didn't work we ended up paying cash, I won't do that again, when I called the number to check balance, the website told me the $25 balance and the day she bought the card, as far as atmosphere, it's pretty boring, there's just some tables along a wall,...

I came into Fire House Subs for the first time today! I had the absolute privilege of meeting Lorenzo and Q! I am writing this review because Lorenzo enthusiastically shared the story of how Fire House Subs came to be and I must say that shows that he cares very much about his company! I love to support others and I have to say you have a wonderful team here! My sandwich was FIRE 🔥 but don’t worry, we didn’t have to call the department, 😉 Thank you guys for a wonderful experience and if you haven’t been, it’s a MUST!!!!!!!! I had the Smokehouse Beef and Cheddar Brisket! It came with a pickle on the side, and one of my favorite aspects is they have the Coca Cola Freestyle machine which lets you choose almost ANY beverage!!! Thanks guys! I’ll be back!...

First off, I love Firehouse subs. Every sandwich I've had at one has been delicious.

We stopped here and got a couple small subs to tie us over. I would also like if there was a bit more meat on my sandwich, but I didn't feel like I got ripped off.

They had a few high chairs which was nice because there were a few families with small kids. Workers even figured out a way to help us warm up a baby bottle.

They could use some extra space by the pop machine toward the back, as having one person there basically blocks the walkway, but it's just a minor inconvenience. Patience is a virtue! 😝
