Wife worked late so we stopped by potbellies to pick up 2 sandwiches, 1 bags of chips and 2 bowls of soup (pot pie soup). With inflation, minimum wage increases and the economy the prices are quite high for a simple fast food sandwich shop. I am okay with this if the food and service is good. We grabbed our online order from the kiosk and headed home.......when we got home we realized the chips were not in the bag. We live somewhat close so the wife ran back and got the chips. When she got back home we sat down to eat and realized both soups were missing the key ingredient needed to be pot pie soup, the pot pie crust that should cover the top. In addition My sandwich was missing the hot peppers requested in online order. Also, neither sandwich was cut in half like usual. On its own not a big deal but when you add all of this up it is quite frustrating. There appeared to be two very young people working on their own....not sure if that played a role in this experience. Let's do better.....so I feel okay paying 30 dollars for a couple sandwiches, soups and a...
Read moreWe love Potbelly foods and go there as often as we can. They have a great variety and prices are reasonable. The staff is friendly. On Sunday, we went there and were disappointed in the lack of cleanliness. ALL of the tables were dirty and customers were cleaning them so they could sit down and eat. Toilet hadn't been changed and the waste receptacle was overflowing. There were a bunch of paper towels in the toilet and I was afraid to flush it. I looked at the cleaning Happy new year. Sorry I fell asleep. and there were no entries on it. When I went out to talk to a manager, there were 3 employees at a backroom table eating and laughing. Tables had still not...
Read moreSad to say this….I’ve been a loyal customer since they opened. I received an email saying I could get free avocado on a sandwich just today only. The email encouraged me to go to potbelly so the marketing strategy worked however, when I got there, the girl at the register didn’t know how to put the daily deal into the register, and I had to pay full price. The manager came and looked as well. She just shrugged her shoulders and said she didn’t know either. Maybe train the employees on daily advertised specials. The email didn’t say I had to order online? It only said no phone or fax orders. Not only did they get me into the store. They got me to pay extra for something that I wouldn’t have normally purchased. My advice is to ask if they know how to put fiscounts into the register...
