For as many times we have dined here never once a bad experience UNTIL TONIGHT!!! Tonight we showed up around little after 9pm not busy at all not like normal! Our waitress KIM left us speechless! After being seated took a good 20 mins for her to come around and take drink orders mind you she was 2 tables away kicking it with the party at that table assuming she knew them because she was hugging them before they left but back to service after 20 mins of waiting for drink orders she came over and only thing she could offer or suggest was alcohol, so not called for with a child at the table! She insisted we ordered our drinks and starters along with our meal at once! We waited on the meals due to not knowing just yet what everyone wanted. A good amount of time passed and she finally brought our drinks out still waiting on the starter which was ordered the same time as the drinks. Starters came 20-30, mins later and she took our order pushy and rushing the whole time as if she had better things to do! After taking the order where’d she go? Right back to her buddies 2 tables behind us! After forever food finally came out our sons hotdog bun was still half frozen I had to ask another waitress to remake it because where was ours? You got that right with her buddies 2 tables behind us! She finally came over and said oh it’s probably because they took it out the back freezer! Okay your point? Over frustrated at this point and ready to go! The table right behind us was checking out and about to leave and what does Kim do? She had the nerve to ask them are you tipping now or later and the man asked for to go boxes and she said ha are you tipping now or later because I can leave the left overs outside! EXCUSE ME? I’m sorry tip or not what waitress does this? Fed up my family left and went to the car I paid and waited on to go boxes for my sons food that took way to long to remake he was over it! She came back with the receipt and tossed it in the table and said I guess here’s your receipt! Note I did not leave a tip do to this service! Left questioning if we would even attempt to return! THE SERVICE KIM PROVIDED WAS HORRIBLE! But I’m glad she had a goodnight with her buddies at...
Read moreUpdate: it's now been nearly 2 months since this post and them asking me to go in the website and fill out this information. Since I've never received any kind of response regarding my complaint I can only assume that this is a formality and nothing really comes of it. That's very unfortunate as we used to love to go to this establishment for dinner, but have not been back and will not be going back since they seem to feel that this behavior is appropriate which is the only conclusion that I can make being that they asked me to fill out the info on the website and asked for my information, but then never follow up. Shameful!!! If I could give 0 stars I would.
We went to Roadhouse for our wedding anniversary dinner, it WAS my husband's favorite steak place, however the manager's attitude pretty much spoiled not only our evening but my husband's favorite steak place. First the waitress Hailey was fantastic, we loved her!!!! My husband's steak was sent back twice to get close to the right cook. Then when the check came he asked the manager Mel if there would be any adjustment to the bill since he had to send it back twice and by the time he got it, I was done with my dinner. She said "Well you got your steak didn't you?" I was floored that manager would speak that way to a customer. He wasn't asking for it to be free, just a minor adjustment. So we sat for about 15-20 min waiting for her to come back and tell us that the bill was adjusted she never did. We finally saw it on the little kiosk thing. Then she refused to even look at us the rest of the night. So we asked for her supervisor only to find out she was part owner. OMG that's so much worse that she would talk to her customers that way. After this experience I highly doubt we will go back, if that's who they have as a partial owner who thinks that is professional. What a disappointment 😔. Based on the reviews, it seems we are not the first people to have an issue with Mel's unprofessionalism...hmm maybe that should be a sign to...
Read moreMy wife and I visited here about a month ago. I waited to post a review until the huge feeling of disappointment went away.
This was one of my wife's favorite places to go to until this visit.
Aside from the fact that the bathrooms were filthy, so were the "clean" glasses, plates, and silverware. It took four times for us to get a set of silverware that was still considered dirty yet cleaner than the others.
When the waitress brought my wife's Ceasar salad, which has white cheese on top, we noticed yellow cheese stuck to the rim of the salad bowl.
The drink glasses were no different. We had three different glasses brought to my wife.
During our game of musical dirty utensils and plates, I happened to notice another employee walking by with a blue rag, fanning it through the air, perhaps expecting to experience lift similarly to an aircraft.
Suddenly, the young man's imaginary aircraft experienced catastrophic damage, causing his blue propeller (the cleaning rag) to fall to the ground.
Then, before my eyes, with the skill of a well seasoned soccer player, he kicked up the propeller with his foot, and his aircraft continued on without incident. "Bravo!" I thought to myself. Hundreds if not thousands of imaginary civilians were saved at that very moment, thanks to his quick thinking and graceful agility.
Then, I was agast to discover what his job must be.
He wiped down the touch screen that the waitresses used to enter their food orders. I can imagine this was the gentleman tasked to wipe down all hot touch points in accordance with cdc guidelines.
Without covid in our lives, this would still be a health code violation.
My biggest regret is the disappointment my wife experienced that night.
We will be back, but not for a few years, I'm sure.
I'm going to...
