Dunkin' — Restaurant in Rockingham

Bought a medium iced coffee on 9/30/21 at around 1PM on my way to Bennettsville, SC to pick something up. On my way, after drinking the coffee, I became ill. I became nauseous and experienced pain in the stomach. I pulled over to a parking lot in Hamlet to vomit (which was about 10 min away from Dunkin). I was able to make it to Bennettsville to pick up my order and make it back to Dunkin approximately 1hr and 30 min later. I attempted to return my coffee and to get a refund.

I was first greeted by the man/boy at the window. He was extremely rude. After explaining my reason for being there and showing him the coffee, he disappeared from my view. Two minutes later a woman appeared. She did not introduce herself and failed to give her title. After I told her my reason for returning the iced coffee, she commenced to tell me that because I had drank half the cup of coffee and it had been 1hour and 40 minutes and they were unable to give me a refund (even though there was still ice in the cup).

I thought this was ludicrous. Especially since I frequent this Dunkin at least twice a week. Also. the gas and time I wasted coming back to the store to return this medium coffee was worth more than the cost of the coffee.

If this is the policy of Dunkin, it should be reviewed and changed. This is the last time I will patronize this establishment.

Word to the wise, customer service...

Update: December 3rd Y'all MUST NOT WANT MY MONEY... Or anybody's money this holiday season. WHERE IS THE COOKIE SYRUP FOR THE HOLIDAY COOKIE DRINKS?!!!!!!!!!!! Like I would be there MULTIPLE times a week if y'all had it but because y'all don't I haven't been back in at all. . . . I honestly wish that corporate cared. I contacted them on Twitter and they said stores can do whatever they want. Which is annoying... And heartbreaking. (End of December update) . . I've only been here once. It was a very bad experience. Service is terrible. Took over an hour for me to get an order that I had scheduled online. Absolutely terrible!!!!!

The coffee was good. The sandwich was good... actually the sandwich was pretty freaking yummy. I'll probably order that again. But the doughnuts were absolutely disgusting. Dry. And of course they didn't have any Halloween sprinkles... 🥴

Due to the crappy service the atmosphere was also really off in there...

I was planning on going there more regardless of terrible service because I wanted to try the Holiday season stuff. But now I see they don't even have the brown sugar cookie syrup that they are supposed to have FOR MOST OF THE HOLIDAY SEASON DRINKS!!!!!!!!!!! 🥴

I'm confused. Do y'all want...

I’ve gone in this store once or twice to receive a doordash order and I’ve always been met with smiley and sweet employees. I’ve gone through the drive thru several times for my own personal treats, I’m from the West coast and I love the energy drinks from Dutch bros. Dunkins Energy drinks are the closest I get to that here on the East coast and I’m forever grateful.

Today, my wife and I came through the drive thru (around 2:00pm) spent quite awhile for our order to be taken and received but there were only two employees working (as far as I can see) and at least 4 cars in front of us so I’m not complaining instead complimenting how fast and efficient these two worked and still met us with great customer service where most employees elsewhere (laurinburg location is notorious for this) would not be so kind. I believe our cashier was Maria (as said on top of receipt), great job girls! I’m so happy to have a nice coffee shop to go to when I feel like having a treat, makes this place feel more like home. 💗 & the inside of this place is...
