We enjoyed a beautiful afternoon dining by the water, surrounded by the sounds of birds chirping and waves splashing against the docks. The atmosphere was relaxing and made for the perfect coastal experience. The food was phenomenal—fresh shrimp cocktail, creamy chowder, a crisp Caesar salad, and an absolutely delicious lobster roll with golden fries and coleslaw. Everything was prepared wonderfully and full of flavor. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was the persistent bee that decided to join us and wouldn’t leave, which disrupted the otherwise peaceful meal. Not the restaurants fault as Mother Nature is outside their control of course. Overall, highly recommend for anyone looking for fresh seafood and a waterfront view! Highly highly recommend!

Here’s the deal add a star to the the current ratings. They lost a lot of stars it appears on reviews that do not apply to the actual service and certainly not to the food. This place is easily a 4.9 if not a 5. Staff was hilarious and friendly, but you can tell they are busy. These guys are stretched thin due to COVID staffing issues. We’ve seen this in Cody, Wy and we are seeing it on our trip to Maine. Just take that into consideration when visiting eat the food and right a real review. Blackened Haddock Tacos good lord those are delicious. Lobster Cavatappi was flavorful and super fresh. Crab Dip with Grilled french bread, lol we got a to go order for desert. Check this place out and have some patience you will not be disappointed.

My husband and I stopped here on a whim during our trip to Maine, visiting from South Carolina. Our food was absolutely delicious as we enjoyed their fresh Haddock, hand cut fries, coleslaw and unbelievable Lobster bisque with large bites of Maine lobster. Our server was extremely hardworking, and we spent time speaking with the Owner - all their team was extremely friendly, kind and made us feel at home right away. The waterfront view was exactly what we were looking for, and hope we can return and enjoy what was a 5 Star experience. Highly recommend to anyone traveling through. Cheers!

Going to Eclipse Of The Pearl turned out to be a happy accident for our family. 12 of us, (counting 5 children) tried to get into a restaurant across the street, which will remain nameless. (Hint - Hills). The first restaurant told us they couldn’t accommodate us because of staffing issues. I drove down the hill to look at the docks, and noticed Eclipse right by the water. At first, I thought it was a little deli. But I walked up and discovered it was a restaurant with some attractive dishes listed outside. When I went in, they told me they could accommodate us all. They put some tables together right by the windows facing the water. The people couldn’t have been any more accommodating or friendly. But, what about the food? In a word, extraordinary! Among us, we had clam chowder, lobster bisque, cocoanut shrimp, blackened haddock tacos, lobster linguini, and chicken tenders and grilled cheese for the kiddos. One of the adults is vegetarian and, although they didn’t have any vegetarian entree on the menu, they made up a wonderful vegetarian pasta dish for her. All were WONDERFUL. No exaggeration. Beer on tap and wine were good, too. After, our server showed up with fudge sickles for the kids and, after, candy! We have been staying in the area for just about a week, eating out at least once a day. This was, by far, our best experience in terms of both food and service in an attractive, clean restaurant. Oh, I almost forgot, both the French fries and sweet potato fries were outstanding, too. Highly...

I recently visited The Dry Dock, and while the food was absolutely delicious, the service setup left much to be desired.

The biggest issue? The bartender is also serving the entire bar, the restaurant, and had her own tables. That’s right—one person handling everything. This is not only unfair to the staff but also impacts the customer experience. Because of this setup, the wait time for food was noticeably longer than it should have been, and you could feel the strain on the service.

However, Stephanie, our waitress who was also the bartender, was beyond phenomenal. Despite being stretched so thin, she managed to stay friendly, attentive, and professional. Her hard work and great attitude really helped improve the experience, but it’s clear the restaurant needs to rethink how they assign staff. Stephanie rocked that place and kept it going!!!

The food, though, was exceptional—everything we ordered was flavorful and perfectly cooked. It’s a shame that the awkward setup and wait times took away from what could’ve been a flawless dining experience.

I hope management makes some changes to the staff distribution because with a better system in place, this restaurant could...

I went here for Mother's Day with my mom, and was sadly disappointed. She uses a walker, and first off, the incline leading up to the front door is pretty steep. And then once inside, it was rather cramped, and hard to maneuver getting to the table and out again. It was also really noisy, but there was also a big party there. Although, it's a small restaurant, and the noise seems to just fill up the space. My blackened salmon was ok but overcooked, and then getting baby roasted carrots as a side, I'm sorry, but use whole carrots. My mom's steak was overdone too. We could barely talk due to the noise. And then she got some vertigo leaving the place on that incline, just didn't expect it. The service was good, and it seemed others were enjoying themselves, so maybe just not the right place for us. But I did want to warn others who might go there with a walker, that it's a bit tricky. Best of luck to...
