Hello Hello is a fairly small shop in terms overall space, but the selection makes it the one place you'll usually find the new book you're looking for. Unlike most of the local stores, it doesn't cater to tourists with a dulled selection of summer reading for those who don't want to think - it is a bookstore with a mission. While it has a large selection of used books, I spend a lot of time at the front new tables, which are stacked with BLM, feminist, environmentalist, lgbtqiaa+, pro-legalization, and liberal nonfiction materials as well as a good mix of big 5 and indie press authors.

The staff are so thoughtful with their recommendations and they have yet to recommend a book that isn't perfectly tailored to my interests! They often make recommendations that I'm surprised by as it wouldn't be something I'd pick up on my own and then that book inevitably becomes a favorite of mine. Hello Hello Books is located in the back of Rock City Coffee It's a small but comfortable and cozy place filled with an elegantly curated selection of books - new and used.
