Wendy's — Restaurant in Rockledge

Now I can understand why there is a BIG sign saying they are hiring. We went inside to eat lunch and there was 1 family there already eating and 1 lady standing in line at the counter. The people behind the counter looked "busy" and they weren't talking to anyone in the lobby. The mgr was walking back and forth in the back and went into the office. I started to look at my watch to see how long we will be waiting. 9 MINUTES!! before anything was said. Then a lady walked in and she had a big order (Must have been what they were working on) but they could have said they have a large order, but they didn't say anything until after the large order was picked up. Then they said sorry for the wait and finally took care of the lady in front of us. There was one gentleman on the line that just kept on looking right at us and then looking down. The other was you only saw when he was grabbing a bag because he was at the window. When "Faith" took our order, when they said how much it was, they were walking away as they said it. The manager STILL hasn't come out to lend a hand until AFTER we finally got our food. The tables were nasty and unclean. I had to clean our own table and to add to that there were many ants hanging around. I think the only good thing was the soda that we got ourselves and the fries...

Somethings going on at this location that just isn’t right.

I’ve been a fairly regular lunch customer at this store and noticed a couple of months ago the place was suddenly very clean and well run. Apparently a manager returned to the store and had a huge positive impact. I think his name was Kenneth. Several new staff were hired including one very bright young girl named Linzy, starting shortly after school let out for the summer.

Almost 2 weeks ago Kenneth disappeared. The weekday staff also changed with new untrained kids who can’t get orders right or give correct change while Linzy and others were off the weekday schedule. I saw them Saturday and found their hours were cut due to the “school schedule”. Really? It’s mid July!

It just happens the manager now working weekdays is a minority and all new hires match. Every white kid hired by Kenneth appears to have been relegated to reduced weekend hours.

It wont be long before the best and brightest quickly find other jobs at competing...

Today, Saturday March 2 at 1:40 PM at the Rockledge Crossings store in Rockledge Florida. I had a large order, over $50. I asked the order taker for one special order. He had an attitude but listened to the order. I asked for a cheeseburger with the meat on the side and everything else on the bun with melted cheese. He said ok. Then when I got to the window I realized I had forgotten to order a drink. I asked him if I could add the drink he rolled his eyes but did give me the drink. When I got the order I received an empty bun. The meat was on the side but the cheese was melted on the meat not on the bun. I asked him if he could make it right. He refused. He called his manager and she kept saying we cannot do that. I have gotten that same order other times with no complaints but the manager just kept repeating “we cannot do that.” I am very upset about this considering the amount of money I spent. We went next door to McDonald and they politely filled the order with...
