Good food but terrible service. I had a nice dinner here with my sons and daughter-in-law. We had a reservation, but we still had to wait about 15 minutes to be seated. We were both hungry and thirsty but after 10 minutes no one had even taken notice that we were sitting at our table. Finally the manager came and we gave our drink orders. The drinks took no less than 10 minutes to get there. Shortly afterwards the waitress came to take our order and it was clear she was unfamiliar with the menu. We ordered and began to talk and soon nearby I heard the voice of the manager telling the table next to us all of the wonderful chef specials that they had for the day. We were never told about any specials and they sounded interesting so I asked our waitress about it. Then she shared the specials with us and I changed my order. We received our salads but the plates set on the table long after we were done with them and we're not cleared before the next entrees came but they were just pushed aside and our table became more and more crowded. Finally I asked someone if they could take away our plates for us so we could have more room. We kept winding up with our drinks empty as well. We ordered coffee and a dessert menu and they brought the coffee after 10 minutes and set it around the dirty plates without removing them. I never mind paying a good price for quality food but I would expect better service at a Denny's! I spoke kindly to the manager about not expecting this kind of service in such an expensive restaurant and she apologized and promised me a gift certificate via my cell phone. I gave her my cell phone number and never heard from her again. I called and left a message after a week in case they sent it to the wrong cell phone number, but no one ever called me back. Wow I guess they...
Read moreTerrible people. Ugly place, ugly service, disrespectful and a disgrace to a Popular Texas town. They Discriminate against children with special needs. Staff had an attitude that if family wasn’t there, would have warranted a big readjustment. Didn’t even get to try the food (kicked me and my son with special needs out because they wouldn’t allow his snacks in the building that he must have because he has food sensory problems).Food looked mediocre at best from what I did see so I could care less about that. There is not a single restaurant that I have been to that wouldn’t accommodate for a special needs child no matter what stupid policy they have because they have all been human enough to help out any way they can As any decent human should do. A 5 year old special needs child isn’t bringing a 3 course meal into your restaurant to devour rather than paying and isn’t a health concern with his snacks. Make sure you never allow babies to have baby food or a bottle in your “restaurant”… might as well take down any wheel chair ramps if you have one.. remove the handicap parking while you’re at it. You should just replace all that with signs that day “we will not accommodate for children that are a little different than the majority of our customer base so stay outside in the heat and feed your children out there”. I had to leave my family at their table because their day didn’t need to be ruined to like my 5 year old son and mine was. We had to leave and go back to our hotel by ourselves instead of enjoying the last day in town. Wouldn’t recommend this if it was the last place on...
Read moreI'm so glad we chose to have dinner here. I've been wanting to dine here for so long and regretfully just have not made the time to do so. Now, after having a fantastic dinner, kick myself for not going sooner. I most definitely will go back soon. The food, the service was spot on. Sarah, our server was very attentive. They were busy, but she made you feel.as if her attention was just atbyour table. She was extremely polite and respectful. Kaleb, although not his table, would inquire if there was anything needed.
If you're looking for a romantic night out, this has the atmosphere and level of service to accommodate your evening. Highly recommend making a reservation. I am so happy everything was cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious. I posted some of the photos from our meals. It was very low light inside to set the romantic ambience, so I kept my flash off out of respect for others' dining. So my apologies if the photos are not great.
Our appetizer was calamari, and (brustta, you have to ask for it, not on the menu). Suggest asking for a side of balsamic vinaigrette to drizzle on it. Francesco (fetticini alfredo). The chicken had a nice sear and still moist inside. The other dish was with shrimp 🍤. Both dishes were perfect, side salads and for dessert we had the tiramisu. The table next to us had a canoli, and 😋 Mmmm, next time, I know to order one of each and share both so we both are not found wanting. If you have been thinking about trying Bellino's, don't put it off. Make the reservation and have a great dining experience. If this helps you please...
