Nestled in the quaint coastal town of Rockport, Massachusetts, there exists a hidden gem of caffeinated bliss—a truly extraordinary coffee shop that seamlessly blends charm, artistry, and unparalleled flavors. Stepping into this exquisite haven, one's senses are instantly enraptured by the harmonious symphony of aromatic delights and the warm embrace of its inviting ambiance.

Every element of this coffee shop has been meticulously crafted to create an atmosphere that transports visitors to a realm of refined indulgence. The soft lighting casts a gentle glow upon the rustic, exposed brick walls adorned with captivating artwork, each stroke of the brush telling a tale of creativity and inspiration. The air is filled with the melodies of soul-stirring jazz, enhancing the air of sophistication and refinement that permeates the space.

But it is the ethereal elixirs served in this sanctuary of taste that truly define its magnificence. As one approaches the counter, an array of tantalizing options dances before their eyes, each drink expertly curated and brewed to perfection. From velvety cappuccinos to rich, aromatic espressos, every sip is a symphony of complex flavors, expertly balanced to awaken the senses and evoke a profound appreciation for the art of coffee-making.

The skilled baristas, artisans of their craft, possess an encyclopedic knowledge of coffee, guiding patrons through the menu with grace and precision. Their passion is palpable in each cup they deliver, their artistry elevated to new heights with every foam heart and delicate latte art. One cannot help but be enchanted by the passion that radiates from these purveyors of liquid happiness.

Beyond its captivating aesthetics and expertly brewed beverages, this coffee shop also holds a deeper purpose—one of community and connection. A diverse tapestry of individuals gathers within its walls, sharing laughter, stimulating conversations, and profound moments of solitude. It is a place where strangers become friends, and where the simple act of savoring a cup of coffee becomes a catalyst for human connection.

In the heart of Rockport, amidst the rolling waves and sea-salted air, this coffee shop stands as a testament to the power of exceptional craftsmanship and unwavering dedication. It is an exquisite fusion of art, flavor, and camaraderie—a haven for those seeking respite from the chaos of everyday life. To visit this establishment is to embark on a sensory journey, a delightful escape into a world where coffee is not just a beverage but an experience to be cherished...

Wonderfully consistent kitchen and a million dollar view of Rockport Harbor, Brackett's is the perfect pre-show early dinner before catching a performance at Shalin Liu a couple doors away ( it's also great for lunch).

THE VIEW sweeps left to right from Front Beach, past the main harbor to the humble of buildings that huddle on Bearskin Neck. About half the seats have good to excellent views through the wall of windows.

THE MENU/FOOD seafood forward, always a white fish, usually a salmon dish and always shellfish including lobster. Solid New England faves at acceptable prices ($$-$). A couple of not seafood entrees. Salads, soup/chowders-- not an extensive menu but very well balanced; same with the wine list. I loved the tarragon-butter finished grilled Faroe salmon with a nice French rose; husband said his butterflied & grilled swordfish was perfection (high praise indeed as he is very picky about his swordfish!).

Staff here is always welcoming and responsive-- extra appreciated because we usually come here during the very busy pre-theatre/sunset times and staff keeps the pace and the smiles!

You won't get unusual, ultra-creative dishes here but we treasure this place for reliability, quality ingredients expertly prepared-- oh, and...

We were in Rockport at probably the busiest time of year - July 4th week! That being said, this restaurant and many others do not take reservations, so its dicey when you go if you can get a table or not.

We had read good reviews and gave it a try. We arrived for dinner around 5:30 pm July 2nd and didn't have too long of a wait...The young hostess was very frazzled and the older woman said under her breath, don't seat anyone else after this couple. We were seated in the high booths before you enter the main dining room (with the ocean views). There was a very large party of 18 people seated just after us in the main room. We didn't mind - there's ocean views all around us all day long!

Our server Abigail was friendly. Took our drink orders, my pink lemonade cocktail hit the spot. The caesar salad was fresh, cold and crisp. My Mates Combo: Bakes Scrod and Scallops, fresh scrod and native sea scallops lightly crumbed and baked with butter and wine was delish. My hubs had the Tarragon Salmon special and said it was great.

We will definitely go back at another time of year to enjoy the view...

We’ll be moving soon, so we paid a visit to Rockport to enjoy a lovely sunny day by the water. Little did we know we would discover Brackett’s. What an awesome place! The food was delicious and the view was spectacular. 1) Brackett’s Fish Cakes (a local favorite!): Homemade fishcakes served with newburg or old bay sauce. 2) Fried Shrimp Plate. We loved everything. Couldn’t have asked for more incredible local seafood. And the service was lovely!

The number one response you hear when you ask, "What's good at Brackett's?" is "Everything's good at Brackett's." I can't say that I've eaten everything, but what I've had so far exceeded my expectations. The menu is seafood heavy if you're into that. I don't eat seafood, but I highly recommend the BBQ pulled pork tacos with pineapple salsa. If you get the right spot, you also get a great view of Front Beach and Rockport Harbor.
