Ice cream was decent. Service was terrible. Man behind the counter was asked what the ice cream flavors were, yes repeatedly, but isn’t that part of the job description?? He’d point to the descriptions that was taped flat on the counter, that could not be seen until you were there ready to order. It was difficult to see, sun, pressure of trying to keep the line moving, writing on the paper wasn’t easy to read…

With attitude he points to the paper and says, “that’s what this is for” and walks away for a moment.

Wow. What service.

I wanted to walk away, but the family wanted ice cream and the other place was closed.

Perhaps next time, we shall wait until that other place is open.

We were looking for ice cream in Rockport and saw that this place had good reviews. They have a variety of ice cream flavors, vanilla and chocolate soft serve, and sorbet.

We tried the raspberry sorbet, which I couldn't eat more than one bite of. The flavor is overly sweet and artificial and the texture is grainy and icy. I wouldn't recommend this at all.

The campfire s'mores ice cream was pretty good (4/5), but there wasn't much graham cracker texture which was regrettable.

I tried a bit of the vanilla/chocolate soft serve which was fine but nothing special.

The Gifford's ice cream here is probably a decent choice for those who are craving ice cream, but I wouldn't recommend the sorbets based on...
