This is a small town. If you want Starbucks - go there, it's in Portland. This is a place you come because you get treated like a friend regardless of whether it's your first visit or your 100th, they have delicious coffee and great quiche etc. the atmosphere and home town charm alone is worth the visit. I can only chalk up the negative review to snobby city behavior. It's not rocket science / it's coffee. In towns like this you have no idea the struggle to get help - this shop is run by an incredible matriarch who juggles raising her family and running a business. If you want to be a lemming treated like you are at McDonald's and the 100 billionth served then by all means go to the chains. I choose to give my money to the local folks who always treat you like family, welcome you to their community and omg- just also have good coffee!! They have a daily selection of quiche I drive across town for when I am visiting from the city - today's options were jalapeño, bacon cheddar or spinach, mushroom and tomato and the shop is adorable and has free wifi - they also happen to have a pass through into a beautiful wildlife gallery. This is one of my favorite spots in Rockport - give it a shot ;-) no pun intended! And by all...
Read moreMy husband and I visited today after a quick trip through Rockport. My husband is a local and raised in Rockport. However I am not, and what we experienced today really touched my heart. We went in for a quick coffee-and to relax to feed our baby. We a fairly new parents. And things went from smooth to really hectic with our baby girl pretty fast. The panic was setting in, we didn’t want to ruin anyone’s time with our crying baby. In that moment the owner quickly came to help us. She so graciously carried all of our babies things and our coffees while me and my husband ran to the other side of the cafe. The hospitality and kind heart of everyone in there was truly just amazing. I am not used to kindness like we experienced today. She reminded us how it’s okay to struggle with the baby, and that everything takes time and getting used to. She was such a blessing in a very stressful situation. Not to mention the coffee was delish! We had an iced chai, and a new valentines blueberry latte. Best customer service and hospitality paired with some really great coffee is definitely a vibe for me! We can’t wait to go back, in the meantime we’ll continue to tell all our family and friends to...
Read moreA quaint little coffee shop packed with vibrant energy in the morning hours. A must stop if you are looking for fun convos with amazing coffee. We stopped in this coffee shop after going on a walk to the Rockport pier and it was amazing. I loved the lady who served us coffee because she was so patient and kind. I had the pecan coffee and my husband had the dark. They come in normal cups but I loved the heat protection they had on them with cute sayings. It was so much filled with positive energy and whoever came in were happy and joyous. It was like going to a coffee shop were you know everybody. The coffee was smooth and delicious and smelled amazing. They had about 5 spots inside and some really cool benches outside. Would definitely want to come back later and order coffee here in the cooler months and sit outside.
A must visit if you are in...
