If you’re ever in Rockport and looking for a unique, whimsical place to relax with a great cup of coffee, Main St Coffee is an absolute must-visit. Located right in the heart of town, this spacious shop offers more than just your usual caffeine fix—it delivers a full-on experience.

Walking into Main St Coffee feels like stepping through the looking glass. The entire shop is decked out in a charming Alice in Wonderland theme, from playful wall art to quirky decor that brings Lewis Carroll’s fantasy world to life. Whether you’re a fan of the story or just appreciate imaginative design, it’s an environment that sparks joy and creativity.

The menu is just as inventive, with a variety of Wonderland-themed drinks that are as delightful to look at as they are to sip. From colorful lattes to cleverly named specialty brews, there’s something fun (and delicious) for every type of coffee lover. They also offer classic options if you’re in the mood for something familiar.

There’s plenty of seating, making it a great spot to catch up with friends, get some work done, or simply escape the Texas heat with a cold brew and a book. The staff is friendly and welcoming, always ready with a smile and a recommendation if you’re not sure what to try.

In short, Main St Coffee is more than just a coffee shop—it’s a little pocket of magic in Rockport. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, don’t miss the chance to fall down the rabbit...

First time at this coffee shop while here on vacation.

My wife, kids and I walked in and immediately felt the stares and glares. (I am also a woman) while browsing the menu I already knew what our order was before making it up to the register.

As I ordered the first drink (a chamomile tea, HOT), she said ok next drink, to which I told her the iced White Rabbit and when she asked what size to which my son confirmed 16oz. As I proceeded to order the third drink the cashier began having an attitude and stating she never got the entire order for the first drink, (which was the tea) then she made a comment that we never discussed the second drink and or size which confused me because we literally just did. She then told me this is why we finish ordering a drink completely before moving on? 🤔

I don’t know if it was because of a rush, or because I was there with my wife, but it completely caught us off guard that my wife and kids walked away while I finished the order. Now I know while in Rockport find a Starbucks instead of supporting local like we usually do in San Antonio.

Oh and the tea was given iced, but we reluctantly took it and left without saying a word. 2 stars given since the banana nut muffin was tasty according to my son! Definitely felt the downward spiral of the Alice in Wonderland theme...

Good little local spot, friendly service, and good coffee options. Many flavors and they can do anything you’d like.

I do want to also say, I was very taken back by the contradiction of decor. In some ways this appears to be owned by a Christian by having a Bible and some Christian decor, but then you look deeper into the details of decor and also see things that represent evil. It made no sense, but then again isn’t that how the enemy works? Before leaving, we were told a pajama party was being hosted the next day and to come backs and encouraged inappropriate ones.

As a family of the Christian faith, I have to say because of these details, it really is a turn off from returning. I understand to most people this may not be something that bothers them, either way, good coffee, just very contrasting representations of what they stand for. For this reason alone is why I removed one star.

It is important....

My wife and I got the Creme Brule coffee, and it was pretty good. We tried the homemade caramelized quiche. It has bacon and onion. Delicious! I can tell the girl that was making the drinks was looking overwhelmed because of the traffic coming in. It was during the CRAWFISH COOKOFF right down the road. Anyway, she did a great job. The girl at the register answered our questions about drinks and desserts. The sitting/dining area was perfect for my family. It was very family oriented and relaxing. I would recommend to try it out if you are in the area.

Katherine is a real gem! She's very welcoming and a generous person. I found her to be a wealth of knowledge on so many topics. From a previous review, I also found this shoppe very warm, inviting and cozy. There are tables with chairs and couches with chic chairs. There's also a small table with chairs in front of a window. Then there's another area next to the fireplace with over sized and inviting chairs. If you want to get a coffee and unwind or meet someone then this is the best place to go! If you're in a hurry, go to a chain coffee shop.
