Hulu Karaoke & Bar — Restaurant in Rockville

I unfortunately can't give Hulu a great review. It was my friend's birthday and we waited an hour past our reservation time to be seated. We were told to come early and we may be seated sooner than our reservation time, so we ended up sitting in the lobby for nearly an hour and a half. As it is all you can eat, we ordered from an iPad, which we're used to. However, the portions were very small for vegetables and non meat. When ordering a serving of quail eggs, I received 2, and had to wait 5 minutes to order more. Some of the meat was pretty good, like the Garlic Chicken and Taiwanese Sausage, but overall I did not feel like the $36 price point was justified. The ice cream machine was broken and a worker scolded one of my friends for trying to use it, despite there being no out of order sign on it.

Later, we did karaoke, and there were no prices posted anywhere visibly on their website or in the lobby. For our group in a larger room it ended up being $280+ for 3 hours. Be sure to ask before going in and make sure you're okay with the price quoted. The song selection was limited and maneuvering their system was clunky and outdated. We had a good time, but it was the friends that made it, and not the location. We'll be trying out other karaoke places in the area, but was really looking forward to this place since we were hosting friends from out of town. Could see giving this place a try again, but not...

I had an amazing birthday celebration at this KTV! The staff went above and beyond to decorate the room with special birthday decorations, which made the atmosphere even more festive and heartwarming.
