Went at a Monday evening at 6. There was one other pair there when we came, as it filled up throughout the course of the night. A shoutout to our server Demetrios (hopefully I've spelt his name right). Having him was great as he was extremely knowledgeable on all parts of the menu, and gave his honest thoughts about what was good and what paired well. It really did make it feel like that he wanted us to sit, enjoy our food, and experience the best the restaurant had to offer. We were quickly seated, and ordered: The Spanakopita, the Stuffed Mushrooms, the Swordfish, and Rainbow Trout. Almost a few minutes after we were served, the appetizers came out. The Spanakopita was scrumptious and perfectly flaky. The mushrooms were stuffed with maryland crabmeat. A tasty pair. The Swordfish and Rainbow Trout came with mixed vegetables on the side. The mixed veggies were cooked to have a bright exterior with still a bite to them; broccoli, cauliflower, carrot, and potato. The fishes themselves were top tier. The ingredients are simple, but the recipe is refined, the cook is skilled, and the ingredients taste fresh. Lastly were the desserts. We ordered the Sampler for 2, and oh are the desserts here oh so good. Classic baklava, vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup, and a few other things I can't pronounce - a clove flavored cake and a seminola custard pastry. If you go here not trying anything else, try the custard pastry (Galaktobouriko). The atmosphere is nice, a semblance of the white city itself. Aestetically blue and whites, with red roses on each table with the servers dressed in white button downs and black pants. The Mykonos city motifs that are designed into the walls give an "essense of" feel without feeling too gaudy. I highly recommend this place. Yes, you will spend a pretty penny, and there is a minor upcharge at the end, but I'll definitely be returning.

One of the best restaurants in the Montgomery county area. Their food is simply the best Greek food you will find without flying to Greece. Several tables around us had Greek people eating at them which is always a good sign about the authenticity and quality of the food in any restaurant. It looks like all the staff is Greek as well and they give the impression that they are all family. The service also feels family run very attentive and friendly. The decor is very classic not over the top just interesting and soothing. Tables are spaced nicely so you don't feel packed in. The prices do reflect the quality and service so don't expect to leave under $120 for dinner for two. Expect even more if you want a good bottle of wine with dinner. All in all it's our go to place for anniversaries and birthdays. Update 07-11-2023: The food and service is just as good but the prices have gone up a bit. Where we used to get out at about $120+tip (for two) we are now looking at more like $165+tip. Still well worth it as you are unlikely to find better Greek food in the DC metro area for any price.

Picture Mykonos Island with its incredibly picturesque white buildings with sky-blue roofs and accents and stone streets, smaller than Santorini but with restaurants and shops just as photogenic. If you can imagine stepping into one of the beautiful restaurants there, then you have a good picture in mind of the Mykonos Grill. The menu is outstanding for the variety of selections, featuring traditional Greek recipes from appetizers to desserts, with several seafood and lamb entrees. I had the excellent lamb shanks, and I enjoyed every tender bite of the large and perfectly seasoned shank on a bed of noodles. The restaurant had a lively crowd, so I did not take pictures except for my food. I saw on the menu, and I think I saw being delivered one of the whole fish stuffed with crab entrees that I will be going back to try the next time, and that will be very soon. I consider this restaurant a "reward myself" top choice and a place I would recommend to anyone that has traveled or would love to travel to the Aegean Islands and Coasts of Greece.

My husband and I go to this restaurant a couple of time per month (sometimes just once). We are regular customers for a while now. The only reason we've been going regularly is because we love the food and it's easy but the wait staff is unprofessional, nasty, and offers zero in delightful customer service which makes a good restaurant, even if something else goes wrong. The atmosphere is wonderful but when the waiters are yelling at customers to order and at other staff members, it's not pleasant.

When I just went, aside from being rushed through to order, I asked for a large salad, no olives and LIGHT ON THE FETA. MY Friend ordered a small salad and asked for extra feta. The nasty waiter (dark bearded man) brings our salads. My salad has two triangles of feta, my friends salad has one triangle of feta. Both salads are the same exact size. I gave both pieces of my feta to my friend since i asked for light feta, and she had asked for extra. I asked the waiter if the salads were the same size and price. He said no, i had ordered a large and my friend a small. AGAIN, and for the second time visiting and ordering this salad, the salad was the same size as the small but they charged me for a large because of one extra triangle of feta. In the past, my large salad was double the size. Quite obviously, they have made some unscrupulous changes to their menu and prices.

NEXT, we get the bill. The total bill says $80.56 (and i'm already disturbed that they've charged me for a large salad when my friends was 'a small salad' yet exact same size as mine). We put two credit cards in and asked to split the charges. The waiter comes back, having run our two credit cards. The charge on each bill is $41.87. This amount times two is more than the total $80.56. I approach the waiter because we've called him over multitple times at this point about the higher split charges but because he already ran our credit cards and got our money, he was ignoring us. I got up and followed him until he turned around. I asked him about the mistake and asked him to fix the charges. He said they've added a 3.99% surcharge on the bill and I could read it at the bottom. First off, who reads the bottom of every bill? Second of all, the charges are for higher operating charges and inflation. This should be either reflected in higher food charges, or put on the original full bill that comes, clearly stating what it is for, but no, it's added on at the time credit cards are charged. I bet most folks don't even catch this, especially all the elderly folks that go there (many who are clients of mine and I will tell). This is absolutely wrong and I told the waiter. He shrugged his shoulders. I also let him know that he could at least offer some consoling words for his horrible customer service by saying he's sorry that I'm unhappy, he's sorry that I don't like such and such, or whatever, just to be kind. But no!

To summarize, we will not entertain this restaurant in the future and I'm very sorry to have had to write...

Having visited this restaurant often in the past, I am sorry to say this important visit was a disaster. I visited in person two days prior to the date I wanted the food for my spouse’s birthday. I met with the manager and sat at the wonderfully set up bar. The restaurant still. had that tropical mediterranean look and feel, and all of the staff were delightful! The manager was very helpful and told me I did not need to set this up ahead of time since my order was only for four people, they could handle it with ease. As he instructed, I called the order in two days later. I said the manager had told me to ask for him so I did, and was told I did not need a manager. he asked why the manager would say that and I said I did not k ow. The manager said I should call the order i at 4pm because it might take an hour to prepare. The waiter said 20 minutes. My order was fairly simple, but often the differences in how the lamb was to be cooked seem to be difficult, which was why I went in person a couple of days earlier. Two of us love their lamb chops cooked rare, one cooked medium rare and one cooked medium well. We also ordered their amazing green beans and the dinners came with a few other items. The waiter repeated and did not have it correct so I repeated it back. He noted the difference. I was satisfied and waited to leave in order to pick it up when they said it would be ready. Affine, beautiful restaurant, loved the outdoor seating areas, wonderfully friendly staff. The waiter brought me my food and i checked it. I was so sad to see the order was not correct. they gave me three well and one rare set of lamb chops. i politely told the waiter the order was incorrect, and now I was also upset because my guests were arriving and expecting to eat at a certain time. The waiter told me that this was the order I gave him and I would need to accept it. Now I was upset and reminded him of our phone conversation. He again argued with me and walked away. i said allowed that he not the order wrong but I was tipping anyway and I paid with my credit card. When I returned to the bar mu food was no longer there and neither was the waiter. I asked another guy where the waiter had gone with the. good I had paid for, that due to the timing of all this my guests were arriving and i needed to go. Someone else brought my food back and I left, very unsatisfied. My guests were very polite and we all ate the lamb chops . The green beans were not up to par either. So sad to see this happen to such a wonderful restaurant. I imagine still recovering from...
