Okay so, before when it was just T-swirl and only the crepes, I went here to try a crepe for the very first time. I got the strawberry banana because I feel like you can't go wrong with something like that. I've been addicted ever since. They closed for remodeling and i tried amai crepes and i could not understand why it wasn't even close to the same amount of delicious. The pancake part was so dry and not even edible the next day. T-swirl I've saved for 2 days and still enjoyed it as much as the first day in the fridge. The ingredients are so fresh, the ice cream is carefully packaged as not to spill all in the bag (unlike amai) and did not even melt before i got home. And it's very custard cream, i love the ice cream more than Ben and Jerry's. SO much flavor.
I've dined in, had it delivered, and pickup. And no matter what it's always on point. I'm so happy they re-opened because I literally gave up on getting crepes if it wasn't going to be from T-swirl.
On top of that, they recently opened back up with pho options and their pho is unlike any other pho I've ever tried. The broth isn't watered down and the options of what you can add (like fried egg, definitely recommend) were amazing. Also tried the crab stick spring rolls last night and I want more already. The amount i was given for a large portion was enough to save some for today, and even today it tastes SO GOOD. The staff is super friendly and they don't mind changing anything to create food that's to your liking. I can't wait to try even more of their new menu ❤️ even the fries were in point ✨
My siblings got the smoothies and we tried the watermelon drink too and OMG IT WAS ALL SO DARN GOOD!! I think I'll start getting a smoothie with my crepes from now on honestly. Never had watermelon juice taste like only the best part of the watermelon. ON POINT
Definitely recommend the strawberry banana crepe and blueberry cheesecake as they're my favorite, but everything I tried, even the apple which I couldn't imagine, was SO GOOD.
If I could give this place more stars i would. Music was great. Food was great. Place was CLEAN AND NEW. Service was on point. 100/10✨ favorite dessert for almost a year now❤️
I'll add pictures next time since my phone was dead...
Read moreThis restaurant is a hybrid of a bubble tea and crepe business called at Tswirl Crepe and a pho business XO Modern Pho. When we sat down, a server from the pho business took our order for food and drink. There’s two separate menus for the two different businesses that share this space.
Drinks: I ordered the Blueberry Pearls Latte, iced coffee, and fresh watermelon tea. Out of those, I recommend the Watermelon drink because they really do scoop out watermelon juice and pulp from the fruit. The other two were disappointing. The Blueberry Pearls Latte (told the pho server no sugar, got 100% sugar) was too sweet; when asked, the barista said that the drink’s sugar level wasn’t customizable as it’s a pre-made paste. Shouldn’t they tell you this wasn’t customizable before making the drink? It tasted like a decadent blueberry ice cream with heavy cream aftertaste. I also tried the iced coffee which unfortunately tasted burnt.
Food: Ordered the Pho California and Chicken lo mein. Portion of noodles in the pho was pretty small but I was impressed with how fresh the bean sprouts were (fresher than pho 75 and phonomnom nearby). The Lo mein was tasty! However it was so oily we couldn’t finish more than half of it.
Overall, the food and drinks were a bit overpriced for what you get but the service was great. When they got our drink order wrong, one of the ladies working the crepe counter explained there’s a huge language barrier between the two businesses (The employees have English as their second language and it’s hard to understand each other’s accents). Overall, the asian baristas at the counter were super helpful and customer service from them was great. Due to that, we would come back despite the lackluster food experience and try other options...
Read moreWhen I saw there was a newly opened location in town, I was so excited! I first ordered from T-Swirl while visiting a relative in New York, and was thoroughly impressed, so I couldn’t wait to give this location a try in person. The crepes are delicious. There’s an option for all tastes, be it chocolatey, fruity, or even savoury, and their teas and other drinks are flavourful and fun. Both crepes and drinks are presented with flair, which fits well with the cutesy but practical, cosy aesthetic. There are plenty of options to choose from without being inundated with an endless list, and it seems they’re often experimenting and adding tasty new options to their menu. I got a chocolate and nut based crepe that was absolutely delicious, truly a dream, and an iced Jasmine tea that was lovely! The staff were friendly and helpful, and I enjoyed a bit of a chat while waiting for my order to be completed. The service was prompt, the restaurant clean, well lit, and tastefully decorated, in addition to being accessible, with no big steps, and large spaces between tables to navigate. I received no comment about my cane and service dog, which is always a relief. Altogether it was a wonderful visit. I not only intend to come back, but to recommend this place to others! Fun little place with good food at a good price, and speedy service on top— what else...
