QDOBA Mexican Eats — Restaurant in Rockwall

I can say that the food and service is great, we ordered a quesadilla, nachos, a bowl, and a burrito and everything was delicious. I read some of the reviews and I regret not taking a picture of the food so you can see that the portion of food is good compared to Chipotle which is 10 times better. I hate when people write reviews to get free food and write whatever, like one I saw very recently that said the size of the burrito was small and you can see on the background an almost finished plate, the burrito is wrapped and you can clearly see they unwrapped the burrito and ate half of it. Why not take a picture of the food when you just got it? They waited until they were done or almost done with their plate or burrito to take the picture and write unfair things. That's pathetic. Be honest when you put reviews. Must of the restaurant quit giving free food because of people scaming with false reviews. Grow up people and put honest, truthful reviews. I really wanted to give this place a good review however no after my second visit, the service I received still wasn’t great. I drove 30 minutes to the restaurant and upon ordering the meat I initially received was old. The guy helping me was scrapping the bottom of the pan just to fill my order and upon not having enough, wanted me to pick another meat. I asked for the manager in which they were able to get me some fresh meat but the look on all of their faces, you could tell they didn’t want to do that. I continued to order and upon paying left. As I get almost home, I realize they didn’t give me the chips and queso. I called the store and I was told to drive 30 minutes back as they were unable to refund me. The gas and fact that traffic was not moving on the highway were the reason I wasn’t making another 30 minute trip back. I love QDOBA, i haven’t had it in years till now and it was such a let down. First off, drive thru they can barely hear anything or maybe it’s just me but I kept having to repeat over and over. Second, the food was great in my bowl everything was great… (I tore it up), but the burrito my wife ordered was so small, I thought they were big burritos? Not regular size if so I won’t ever order a $11 regular size chicken burrito?? We tried to refund it for the portion size, the manager said they don’t do refunds??? Like ma’am cmon we haven’t even grabbed the bag of food from your hand And they had messed up my wife’s order so they had to remake it and lastly.. my drink I asked for light ice and you filled me cup with full of ice.
