Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Rockwall

If I could rate the service a ZERO I would! I went to this sonic the other night and ordered two shakes and one fry at 11:01. Online it clearly states they close at 12. I waited till 11:15 and then clicked the red button. Then I was told that they were not going to make my order cause they can’t make anything after 11. I’m not necessarily upset about them not being able to complete the order. What I’m upset and is 1. Nobody said anything to me until I hit then button even though I had seen somebody come out of the building and walk over to someone else and 2. The person who answered when I hit the button was honestly really disrespectful about the way he told me they weren’t going to make my order. I’m really disappointed with how this was handled and honestly don’t understand why the order would have gone through if they aren’t supposed to be...

Horrible. Most disgusting food I have ever had....EVER! And I'm north of 50yo. I love Sonic food but this was not that. I ordered their #5 combo a grilled chicken wrap with no tomatoes and tots. For starters the wrap came WITH tomatoes even though the car hop read the order to me stating it had no tomatoes (the menu board was not functioning so there wasn't any way to verify the order that way). But then it got worse... when I bit into the wrap the chicken was so dry and tough I couldn't bite through it. I don't mean it was very tough and hard to bit through, I mean I literally could not bite through the chicken. It's like it had been mummified. Even the tater-tots were awful. They we cold and dry. How do you make a tater-tot dry? Awful, absolutely disgusting. I will never so much a buy a soda from that...

My wife and I love sonic. We frequent the OTHER 2 in rockwall. Since my wife was at the post office, she stopped at this one. We will never return. Service was great as well as fast. Kuddos there. HOWEVER….. both Tot orders were overcooked which is not that big a deal. The SERIOUS food quality issue was the after ONE bite, we looked at each other and promptly THREW AWAY BOTH of our double cheeseburgers. The meat had that gamey rank taste like it was thoroughly GREY before you cooked it. Gross…. It was 5pm prime time traffic so rather than 45 minutes HOPING to solve the issue, was just scavenged out of the fridge. Sonic Corp, you owe me 26 dollars and you should PRAY that a food inspector doesn’t walk into...
