Arby's — Restaurant in Rocky Mount

Worst Arby's we've ever been too... We decided to try out the 'good' burger meal only to end up very disappointed. First we are told that we cannot get shakes with the Good burger meals because the shake machine is down, it's apparently always down.. then we pay $25 for just the two meals when the shakes weren't even included, just soda but somehow they still charge you the same price as if you got freaking shakes with it. Absolutely the most overpriced garbage you can buy from a fast food place. Whoever manages this particular Arby's is just not a good fit and the employees need better training overall, they are rude and it takes them absolutely way to long to do anything. Two burger meals and we had to wait 20 minutes... I've worked at Hardee's, so I understand how the fast food process works, and this would have been a huge nope and you only getting a few chances to get it together or you were looking for another job. This Arby's is a perfect example of why fast food employees don't deserve anything over $7.25 an hour. Sorry but it's true. Why should an owner of any of these places pay well over minimum to employees who don't care to begin with but expect to be paid way over minimum!?

As for the "Good Burger meal", the wagyu beef used on the good burgers didn't taste hardly any different than the average typical beef burger and the sauce choosing was just nasty. There isn't anything good about this "Good Burger". Not sure who at Paramount thought it was a such a great idea to have Arby's as the fast food joint to make the iconic Good Burger, but it was definitely a terrible idea. This should have been something Sonic or Burger King did, not Arby's. If you wanna try this burger out go ahead, but be prepared for massive disappointment and drastically over paying for what should really be called the nasty burger. I stopped at this Arby's while on a road trip to pick up my dog. I don't have an Arby's where we live, so finding one is kind of a treat. I was there around 3pm, so it was quiet in between lunch and dinner. I ordered a Smokehouse Brisket combo and subbed potato cakes for curly fries. The cashier said they would call me when the order is ready, which only took a few minutes while the potato cakes were being fried. I went to the fountain drink machine and the Coke Zero wasn't dispensing any syrup with the water, so I decided on another drink, then went to get some honey mustard and horsey sauce for dipping. The honey mustard dispenser wasn't working, so I went to counter to let them know. I was told the soda dispenser was down since the day before, but there was no indication of that on the machine. I didn't even bother to tell them about the other dispenser due to their lack of concern. The floors were slippery like they needed to be stripped and rewaxed, and there were no towels in women's restroom despite having two dispensers. I walked out to the lobby and used napkins to dry my hands. Was visiting kinfolks in the area & came by to pick up dinner. I normally enjoy their roast beef sandwhiches but their fish sandwhich came highly recommended by two relatives ☺. Even better, they were on special, 2/$5. Went thru the drive-thru & ordered those & two gyros. From the time i recieved the order to when i delivered it (minus the highly rated fish sandwhich for myself), it was a 5 minute drive. The only reason this visit received 2 stars instead of 1 was: (1) the whole filet was hot & tasty, & had a nice crunch to it 😋 but the bun was smooshed down under the weight of the gyros & looked unappetizing 😞 (2) with a 5 minute drive down the road, we had expected the gyros to still be hot upon arrival but complaints were made that they were luke warm, somewhat soggy, as was the lettuce in the wrap 😟.
