This place has THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE !!! I have been here several times over the past 5 yrs & have never felt welcomed or properly served. . once a yr a bus load of visually impaired/totally blind ppl ( myself being one ) stop in every October picking up a group on our way to the Outer Banks . We have lunch in the plaza because it's out halfway point. Recently had lunch there on the 17th & the waitress was pretty rude , impaintebt & u friendly - duscourteous handing us drinks with no lids , throwing the straws & menus at us , Two of my bus mates had their white canes , one wearing dark glasses whom I had to guide because he's totally blind . Not only did u tell her we were blind verbamly but unless she's blind too she could see it physically. This is the type of treatment we recurve in this place each yr. I'll never return. But for my other busmates who may venture back in there I hope this review will which the higher ups & they'll give their staff some kind of training for those of us who present with disabilities that are outward appearing. Ask if we need help reading the nevu , put lids on drink cups , give us plenty of time to figure out what we'd like & not make us feel rushed or like we're bothering you if we ask you for something .She...

Proper customer service etiquette: "Hey, I would like two of your kids grilled cheese meals." "Okay, we are out of loaf bread, would it be okay on a bun." At least I would have had a choice. Instead they failed to mention that and put two slices of cheese on an inside out hamburger bun. Crispy onion rings were requested and they failed to provide. They were soggy. I added 1/2 a cup of sugar to my lemonade and it was still too bitter to drink. All 5 fries were soggy and sticking together in which one was thrown into the bag upside down. In all this chaos, a very young grill cook was also trying to make verbal passes at me, at one time calling me baby. It took 10 minutes to fix 5 sweet teas and 1 lemonade in which time our food was already bagged prior to the 10 minute drink retrieval. Very unprofessional and far from satisfactory customer service. I walked in and politely said I needed to pick up and order. Girl had an attitude…ummm okay. I was standing under the sign for picking up orders and my order was further down on the counter. The employee apparently didn’t want to move and she just pointed to it and crossed her arms. Alrighty then. I had gotten a kids meal which comes with either a car or a custard. I asked for the car and she mumbled (you couldn’t understand ANYTHING she said) they don’t have them. So I said okay no problem, can I get the custard then. THAT ticked her off and the manager too apparently. The manager whipped around and with an attitude said “it’s only ONE scoop!”, rolled her eyes and cocked her head. I don’t care if it’s a spoonful. If I paid for it, give it to me!
I had a tip in my pocket to give them but you beat believe that they didn’t get it.
The food was okay. Portions were MUCH smaller than usual and the chicken tenders were cooked in Hell apparently (dry and hard).
