Waffle House — Restaurant in Rocky Mount

Nice clean place well cap, friendly people into a homeless person walk-in and asked to buy some coffee. They told him to get out the store that he’s not allowed to be there. I didn’t hear that part I said just give the guy the breakfast he wants I will pay for it. the guy said he cannot be here. my manager don’t want him to be here because he cussed a customer out that he needs to leave the premises. I told the young man that I will buy him to breakfast to please leave the premises so like that he won’t get in trouble and please don’t get this people hard time, I was already sitting down having my breakfast I asked the guy to give me, bacon and ham unscramble egg, he brought me bacon scrambled eggs ham, toast, grits and I told him I didn’t wanted toast or grits. He said well it comes with the meal, but I only want ham bacon eggs. and when I order another waffle house they dont tell that comes with the meal. so I just took out the eggs off the plate where the grits and bread was at and told him I don’t eat carbs soon as I told him that he kind of got mad and took the plate and threw the plate back to scrape it through it on the sink when it attitude. Anyway, back to the subject, I asked him can he make me the order so I . Can give me the breakfast for the guy for me to take to him when I leave here, I’m just a regular customer buying somebody food and I’m gonna go take it to him so they both ignore me cook and guy , and I told him you know how many people spit on God and God still die for us. I’m not trying to give you a hard time. But you don’t know what I got that man to be in the position he is anyway he started getting mad. I said it’s fine never mind I still should finish my breakfast and just walk out of there and give the guy a $50 for he could go eat somewhere else. I really don’t want to reputation to the young man because he was a nice young man when I first walked in, but then when this whole happened, they both turned into monsters basically like I started getting mad on the mess up my day blah blah blah. God said love your neighbor like you love yourself, and I wanted to feed a homeless they need us something to eat at 6 o’clock in the morning, anyway I hope you guys can read this good. I am driving and speak into the phone. Hopefully it wrote everything down like I needed to. Don’t get me wrong. Service wasn't too great although we did get there roughly 1 AM. The waitress that we had seemed to have an attitude . We asked her if she was new and she nodded yes. I said she should practice having a smile on her face considering the patron being served. If you accept the job working in the field of Hosting individuals your mentality should be greeting with a smile the inviting. I must say that when young men came in to the Waffle House she had a smile on her face or should I say blushing smile. I expect to be treated properly and not have to chase the waitress down in order to get a refill on coffee or to let him or her know that the waffle is not fully done. We went there to do breakfast merely to kill time waiting for Amtrak That was supposed to take off at 2 a.m. but was now arriving at 3:48 a.m. . I left there less than happy about the meal or the visit. Needless to say I will not...

This Waffle House has to be the absolute worst there is. It’s a complete shame when you can call this particular Waffle House starting at 7:00 a.m for over two hours straight and not one single employee has the decency to answer the phone. What adds insult to Injury is which ever employee/employees work during this shift, forward the calls straight to voicemail. I myself tried calling 7 times over a time span of two hours and my fiancé tried calling 5 times. If you want good service from people who actually take time to simply pick up the phone then this is not your destination, keep it moving, and keep your money. P.S For any inquiring minds, no this is not the first time this has happened. It has happened so many times that we have decided to no longer give this particular Waffle House any...
