Cook Out — Restaurant in Rocky Mount

This trip was my first to Cook-Out. I am on a ketogenic diet to control my blood sugar and weight. I was STARVING for some grilled chicken and I have no grill. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich, wrapped in lettuce in place of a bun. I received a grilled chicken sandwich with lettuce tomato and mayo on it. Buyer beware : I could taste sugar in their mayonnaise. I grabbed a napkin and wiped down the grilled chicken, tossed the very sad piece of wilted lettuce and green tomato and bread. I thoroughly enjoyed that grilled chicken though! It was delicious! Not as delectable as I can make one when I have a grill. Born and raised here and now that I have moved covered over half the U.S. going to burger places Cook Out is a top pick. Trust me it's better than all the other big guys. This one use to be the fastest food in Rocky Mount but in the last few years it's become way slower. Still ok fast but at the wrong time lines are ridiculous. It use to be as soon as you pulled to the window no matter how much you ordered it was done. Now you may be waiting especially if it's within 20 min of opening.

Unlike most places you get options for meals. Various sides and sandwiches that you can mix and match as you please within the tray options. I mean like a double burger with a chicken wrap and nuggets .....and like 15 other options. It's also...

Food was fine, but customer service was absolutely awful. The employee Ka'Niya (yeah, I saved the receipt so I wouldn't forget) was extremely rude and attitudinal while I was placing my order. Took me maybe 20 seconds so there's no need for that. Once I rolled up to the window, she mumbled something and when I asked her to please repeat, she literally yelled at me about what sauce I wanted (maybe if you didn't have a diaper over your face I could understand you). Finally when I left I told her to have a nice day, she literally said NOTHING. Extremely rude and unprofessional. She shouldn't be working with customers at all. Management needs to do something about this. I'll think twice about ever...
