Living Proof Beer Company — Restaurant in Rocky Mount

Friendly staff, nice views from the outside deck overlooking downtown. The beers I tried unfortunately were not that great. Two IPA's, an English Ale, and one Octoberfest style, and all tasted very watered down. Almost like drinking random domestic beers on a warm day. Even tried a full pint of one just to be sure. Since this was my first visit, I'm not sure if there was a problem that day with something, or just that the brew recipes are lacking in flavor. Worth another try sometime to determine...

We stopped in Friday night for a few beers. The bartender was very good at explaining the different beers they had and gave me a few samples to try. I liked the one IPA they had so I got my growler filled up while I was there. Later on I spoke with the owner and he explained the loyalty club they run there. I can't say enough positive things about this company. The staff was super friendly and Jim was very responsive and communicated clearly. My wife and I had our rehearsal dinner here and loved it. The beer and seltzers are great and they have a ton of variety for a microbrewery. Better yet, they even had non-alcoholic options for their seltzers.
