Let me start by saying I like to plan as much as possible to have a pleasant experience when coming to McDonald's. What makes it happen, in my opinion, is the people who were working at the counter and the cooks handling your food. I'm editing my review to include my visit yesterday. My order was for a quarter pounder with a large fry. I am very satisfied that they cook the burger to order, but I happen to notice the abundance of fries stacked, and it wasn't very busy. I was wondering if my fries would be cold during the small amount of time but I wasn't going to stress but then I see one of the crew take a basket of fries and drop them in the oil. I was impressed that they were going to give me fresh fries when my burger came up. The shock came when I realized that less than 10 seconds later, she pulled them and dumped them in the bin! What! They were done, and she dumped them back; never heard of dropping them back to warm them. I don't think they know how that effects the quality, how the salt and other elements break down the oil, and the danger of cross contamination. I am now avoiding this location as they could cause customers to be sick because of how some just have given up in properly...

I'm still reeling from the shocking experience I had at the McDonald's in Rocky Mount. The sluggish service and disinterested staff were only the beginning. The real shock came when I took a bite of my hamburger and discovered a long, dark hair embedded in the patty. It was disgusting and appalling.
The food was subpar, with a lukewarm burger that seemed hastily assembled. But the presence of a hair in my meal was a clear indication of a lack of quality control and hygiene standards. I felt betrayed and worried about my health.
When I brought it to the staff's attention, their nonchalant attitude and lack of apology only added to my frustration. It seemed like they didn't care about my experience or the potential health implications.
As a customer, I expect basic standards of cleanliness, food safety, and respect. This experience failed to meet those expectations. I urge others to think twice before visiting this location. Until they address their quality and service issues, I'll be taking my...

However, tonight I made a curbside mobile order for a Frappe & Medium Fry. 5 minutes after making the order, the app alerted me that my order was being brought out to me. After waiting 25 MINUTES in the curbside spot without receiving the order that I'd been notified about 20 minutes prior, I pulled around to the drive thru to inquire about picking my order up there since my order had yet to be delivered curbside. I was directed inside (on a cold night) to wait for another 13 minutes for my order to be changed to an Iced Latte and Fry because the Frappe machine was down.
I understand that technological malfunctions occur, but the fact that it took 30 MINUTES for me to be told that one machine was down is poor customer service and was a waste of both time AND money. The workers were polite while handling my issue but this simple order led to frustration and dissatisfaction that could've EASILY been avoided within a far shorter...
