First of all, the name alone deserves an automatic visit.

I was extremely excited to see Eggs With Benefits open in the neighborhood because I have been looking for a spot that makes a simple egg sandwich.

I finally got around to visiting the restaurant and I do not know what took me so long. The inside of the restaurant is spacious and clean. They opted for a minimalist decor but they have a ton of sitting that could accommodate parties of 1-4 people. This is the perfect spot to attract both the college and local crowd.

The staff is top notch at Eggs With Benefits. They were helpful and friendly to every single person that stopped in. On the menu the eggs are described as soft scrambled but I observed them being willing to accommodate someone that wanted harder eggs and bacon.

During my visit I asked one of the staff members which sandwich was the most popular and he said it was an even split between the sausage and bacon sandwich. So I opted for the bacon sandwich while my husband got the sausage sandwich both with a side of hash brown. In this day and age when places have to cut back on the size of their dishes, Eggs With Benefits does not hold back.

I kid you not, there are not a lot of places I visit in which after the first bite of the food I know they are going to be in the area for awhile. I did not realize how important having seasoned eggs was until I visited Eggs With Benefits. You can tell that they are passionate about having quality breakfast sandwiches while still keeping it reasonability priced.

Initially I was hesitant to order the side of hash brown because it felt like it was a lot of food but I wanted to test out the quality. I am so happy I got the hash brown because it was the right amount of crispy without being greasy. I normally stray away from hash browns or tater tots because they are always greasy but I have not idea how they found a way to make it perfectly crispy. I got a solid two meals out of my order.

I highly recommend visiting Eggs With Benefits. I can easily see myself visit here weekly because I do not think I have had a better breakfast sandwich since...

Scrambled eggs can be a hit or a miss in general and if you have a South Asian palate like me, eating eggs at a non-desi place can turn out to be a seriously underwhelming experience. But that wasn't the case at this place. I ordered the soft scrambled egg sandwich, side of hash brown patty, and fresh orange juice. Firstly and most importantly, the scrambled eggs weren't runny or mushy, and the sandwich had a nice structural integrity overall. The brioche bun was soft and crispy, and not soggy. The cheese (I am assuming it was cheddar?) paired perfectly with the egg and wasn't too sharp, which I appreciate very much. Same for the caramelized onions, which I asked to add a tiny amount of since I didn't want it to overpower the taste of the sandwich. The brioche bun was a bit charred, but I didn't really taste that in the sandwich. The hashbrown was nice and crispy but it could definitely be made more flavorful. The staff and the owner are super welcoming and warm. If oddly eggy and bland eggs make you cry and you don't wanna have to douse your eggs in hot sauce to make them more palatable, definitely try out this place. I will definitely...

This place popped up on Toast Takeout in my neighborhood, and my husband and I decided to give it a try for a takeout breakfast. I’d never tried a Japanese Curry Bowl for breakfast and thought, what do I have to lose?

It was SENSATIONAL. The scrambled eggs are super soft and fresh atop the rice, and the curry sauce is wonderfully savory and spiced with the caramelized onions giving a little extra zing.

My husband got the Egg Salad Sandwich, which he also loved. The mustard and the pickled vegetables gave a lot of flavor, just as good as you’d find at a deli.

I would’ve taken pictures of the food, but I wasn’t expecting to love it as much as I did. It was devoured by the time I realized I needed to write a review to support this local establishment. The service was excellent, with someone calling me before the order pickup time to let me know proactively it was ready. We will be...

This place is good! I got the steak and egg sandwich. The egg was soft scrambled which can be an odd texture for some people and it was for me but I pushed past it. The hashbrown was so crispy and delicious, way better than McDonald’s. The sauces were also very good. The restaurant is small and cozy with plenty of seating. This place is self serve, they have two tablets to order from. I don’t think they accept cash but they accepted my Apple Pay. The owner (I think) was the one who served me, he was also training a worker in the back and was very kind to him. I will be back. The food was great.

Thank goodness for a great food spot right by university. Our neighborhood needed this. Staff is SO friendly, cheerful, and welcoming. I got the steak and egg bowl plus a glass of fresh orange juice. YUM. The balance of the savory steak with the eggs and rice in the bowl, so delicious. Not salty. Great flavor. Yah I added the Sriracha [it does not come on the bowl] so don't worry about spice for folks who don't like hot sauce. Good portion amount. Service was quick, so it was a perfect stop for me in between class. Definitely will be back to try one of the breakfast sandwiches.
