Dear McDonald's Customer Service,
I am writing to formally express my profound disappointment regarding an incident that occurred at 3122 West Touhy Avenue McDonald’s restaurant on the evening of July 2, 2025, between approximately 9:00 PM and 9:30 PM.
During my visit, I wanted to purchase 10 Happy Meals toys just the toys but said she can’t sell them separately so I told her I will buy 10 Happy Meals with the specific intention of selecting the accompanying toys. This request was met with resistance by a staff member who identified herself as a manager. Her demeanor and conduct were, regrettably, far below the expected standards of professional customer service. She asserted that selecting toys was not permitted and directed me to place my order in the kiosk. When I expressed my preference for ordering at the register, she falsely claimed that no register. Subsequently, after I began placing my order through the kiosk, she declared that she would refuse service to me altogether.
This employee's behavior was not only unacceptable but also unprofessional. Her use of inappropriate language was particularly disconcerting. Despite my attempts to address the situation calmly and professionally, her conduct remained unacceptable. Moreover, she declined to provide the store number or her name, instead misleading me by suggesting the store number was posted outside, which was untrue. Consequently, I chose to go to another McDonald’s location, where my request to purchase the 10 Happy Meals and select the toys was accommodated and efficiently. Read moreOn August 24, 2025 at 1:30am I waited on 1st drive thru line and someone from the store came on and just yelled, "you have to wait." I was like geez ok n I waited, but then they took 2 orders from 2nd line and after 10mins, a woman w/ broken English came on n i couldn't understand her, so i said "I just want small coke n a frappe. She answered, "what?" I said, "a frappe." Then another girl came on w/ attitude said, "what is it?" I said, "a frappe, the girl couldn't understand." She answered, "well you didn't know what to order!" I said, "ok ok caramel please." She yells, "2nd windoooow!" After another 10mins in line n I got my drinks n tried to explain that i couldn't understand the 1st girl n before I could finish she yells back "a lot of ppl have broken English so - SO WHAT!" I replied "but if ppl can't understand her or she can't understand ppl ..." She again yelled over me "it's your fault, you didn't know what you wanted, how can someone come to McDonald's n not know what they want?!"
Suffice it to say - if you do not want to be berated, yelled n cursed at -- DO NOT GO to 3122 W Touhy McDonald's between 10pm n 6am when there's this stick thin girl w/ black hair acting like a supervisor who clearly hates her job!

Read moreI usually always go to the McDonald's on Howard Street and if you look you can see how many posts I have where my order wasn't right and things like that sad part is the employees there have been there for a long time now tonight I go to this place when I pulled up I saw a little line of cars I went to the drive-thru but when I was getting ready to get my order another car came the kid that was working makes me want to come back because I could see that he was handling everything on his own without really any help and he was just very professional calm and everything just went smoothly because of the work ethic I could see in this kid and the way he handled everything and the way he handled everything in my eyes makes him an employee that you would want for your business because that kid right there is going to make me go to that McDonald's instead of the one on Howard Street because of having an employee like that definitely definitely that is where I'm going to go when I come out here 6 days a week hopefully the good impression that was made...
