Really like this bakery. I felt so welcomed the moment I walked in. I went specifically for a loaf of challah. I like to pair it with polish cabbage rolls for dinner. It simply the best loaf of challah I ever had. I ate about half the loaf in a day. I mean, I was forced to share some with the family, but I had to hide it from them for later. I also got the challah rolls to go with my red pepper soup and sun dried tomato grilled cheese sandwiches as the bread. This place makes the best challah ever. The customer service was very off putting from the start. I moved into the neighborhood about two years ago and decided it would be good to give the local bakeries and restaurants a try. After becoming quite a regular customer, I placed an order for some Pita breads (flat breads, whatever) but i forgot to pick them up. I believe they did try to call me to remind me of the order but I didnt see the call until the following day, so I called asking if the breads were still available. They bold faced told me that they sold the breads I had already paid for to another customer and I would have to pay Again for another order. Perhaps they only like catering to their own as I am one of the few Black customers they had. Never giving my business...

This was the first time my family went to this bakery. We live in Milwaukee, and we were in Chicago and decided to stop by because we had a family birthday. All the bakery items were delicious and better than we expected. I will be dreaming about their cinnamon roll for a long time. However, the lemon vanilla cake we ordered disappointed us.
