Mi Pueblo Two on Touhy Ave. has been my go-to spot for years, and there's a good reason why. This woman-owned gem, run by a dedicated Hispanic lady, consistently delivers some of the best Mexican food in the area. Their gorditas de Asada, quesadilla especial, and tacos are all standout dishes that keep me coming back. Recently, Mi Pueblo Two expanded into a larger space next door, and the upgrade has only enhanced the dining experience. The new location is spacious and welcoming, perfect for enjoying their delicious offerings. One of the highlights for me is their habanero sauce—it's fiery, flavorful, and not for the faint of heart. Their new pico de gallo is also a fantastic addition, fresh and bursting with flavor. Another perk is the complimentary refried beans served when you dine in, a nice touch that adds to the homey, generous feel of the place. Overall, Mi Pueblo Two combines excellent food, a warm atmosphere, and a commitment to quality that makes every visit enjoyable. If you’re in the area and craving authentic Mexican cuisine, this is the spot to hit.

We came to Mi Pueblo Two in Chicago for a late breakfast (around 1 PM), and everything hit the spot. The staff was welcoming and on top of it—friendly, fast, and super attentive. Right away, we were served chips, salsa, and beans, which were all packed with flavor and a great way to start the meal. We ordered tacos, chilaquiles with eggs, and huevos con chorizo—and every dish delivered. The tacos were loaded with well-seasoned meat and fresh toppings. The chilaquiles had that perfect crunch under the green salsa, with eggs cooked just right and a generous layer of crema and cheese. But the real surprise was the huevos con chorizo—super flavorful without being greasy, and paired perfectly with the rice and beans served in those fun crispy tortilla bowls. Everything from the food to the service made this place feel like a solid local spot we’d come back to. Whether you're in the mood for breakfast, lunch, or something in between, Mi Pueblo Two delivers big flavor with a chill vibe.

Picked up my order of 2 burritos, one WITHOUT tomatoes. A few hours later and a few bites in, I discovered red diced tomatoes inside both halves of my burrito. Although, the foil they wrapped it in said NO TOMATO. As we are regular customers here for nearly 10 years I called back and mentioned their ERROR. I was 1st told "you ordered both with tomatoesb, then told " you said no tomatoes on one" . After a bit of back & forth explaining that the error is that BOTH have tomatoes instead of one, I was told to take a picture and send to them then they will decide on what to do next. Mi Pueblo it is not that deep. Your TERRIBLE CUSTOMER service ruined me ever wanting to order from your establishment again and I will stop recommending to friends. I'll take my business to any of the 200 taqueria restaurants up and down N Clark St.

I’m not one to write bad reviews not do I have high standards for customer service but my experience with this restaurant has been simply the most bizarre and off-putting. My husband and myself tried to put an order through Ubereats with this restaurant today and as we were about to finalize our order the restaurant deactivated their ubereats availability at which point we tried contacting the restaurant to put an order directly by phone to which the response we got was to place an order via ubereats. We tried to explain the fact that their restaurant is showing as ‘currently unavailable’ so they got one of their people to reactivate their ubereats. We were informed to expect a long waiting time for the order to be ready for delivery which we were okay with as we were planning on a late night dinner anyways. An hour and a half after we placed our order I checked my ubereats app to see the estimated arrival time. Unfortunately, the order had been cancelled and the restaurant didn’t deem it necessary to reach out to let us know. We tried calling the restaurant to get an explanation of what just happened but they were not even answering their phone at this point. Very disappointed and no chance of me...

I cannot stress enough how good my 2 enchilada dinner (Verde salsa, pork) was. As soon as I sat down I was brought BEANS and chips. Beans were cooked perfectly and so creamy, chips tased as if they were freshly fried. Coffee was made to order and too good for cream or sugar. Then the food came. My dinner was served on a cast iron on top a wood block still sizzling, which was perfect for how cold it was outside. Ive been constantly disappointed with Verde enchiladas all over town but this place, they do it right. Creamy Verde, pork wasn't overcooked in the slightest. Not to mention the woman taking care of me was super polite. She was more than inviting as soon as I walked in and gave me extra napkins after seeing how many I was using. (I have a cumbersome mustache) Literally the best enchiladas I've had all year. I couldn't even finish my meal before texting all of my friends about it. Not to mention I only paid 14$ before the tip, felt like a steal! We've all drove past this place, just stop in already! I can't wait to go back,...
