Palestina New York Pizzeria — Restaurant in Rogers Park Township

Food was cold when it arrived and I only live a mile down the street from them. Pizza was really small for a "14 inch." Looked more like a 10 or 12 inch and they didn't offer anything bigger to order. I was really surprised considering it's "New York style," which is typically a larger pizza. Flavors were decent, but not worth the money I spent on a cold, small pizza. Super disappointing.

EDIT to reply to owner. I wasn't complaining about the price of the pizza. I was complaining about the size considering it's "New York style" and it being cold. And it's your responsibility as a restaurant owner to make sure the delivery service is capable of delivering the food properly. For example, if they don't have a pizza bag don't give it to them. There's no excuse for my food to be cold when I live 5 minutes away. Also, I'm pretty sure you just called my phone twice after I left my honest review, which is borderline harassment and super unprofessional. I know it's hard to take criticism about your food. I've worked in kitchens half my life. The fact is I was just left really disappointed with the food. That's it. Best of...

Ordered pizza to go here twice, a few months apart. Both times, their estimates on how long it would take were nowhere near accurate. Took 20-30 minutes longer than they told us both times. The pizza is good, but the wait time leaves much to be desired. Did not offer us anything for the delay and didn't even say sorry for the wait. Overall the service is not good.

Re: owners comment - We were told pizza would be ready at 6:25 & we arrived at 6:27. Pizzq was ready at 6:43. The staff said it would be ready in 3 min when we walked in, but obviously was not the case. Maybe don't pick up the phone if you're not planning on making pizzas!

Well, I did love it at first but now not so much now. Ordered a pizza and fries, waited the amount of time the website said to go pick it up. Get there and had to wait an additional 20 minutes for the pizza. Get it home (a block away) and discover that the fries are not done at all and are cold. Too frustrated to go back and complain I chucked it up to a bad night for them. Order again a couple of weeks later same story but the fries are over done. Will not order from again, but I don't think I have to worry about that since they shutdown...
