I recently went to this shop for buying Sofa set, though the prices are cheaper, but the customer experience is horrible, changing of delivery dates, no respect to the customer.. you will find all possible hassles at this shop.
29th Mar 2014 - I had been to their shop in downtown to order the furniture. Ofcourse, I wasn't sure whether to buy at this place or not. Because my friend referred this place, I came to this place and found a good sofa set @ 1100 $ price including love seat and recliner seat. It was a good deal, but the way the owner interacted with me was rude, no respect for the customers. The sales representative initially said, it can be delivered on next Wed/Thu before I make up my mind.
Once I paid the money [half the price], Grant told me that he will give me a call on Monday to let me know about delivery date.
I was expecting the call, Grant didn't called me. On Tuesday 1st April, I called him and asked about delivery, he replied it will be on Friday 4th April 2014.
On Friday, I have again called Grant and then he replied, it will be coming Monday. He told me that he will give me confirmation on Sunday about delivery on Monday.
He didn't called me at all on Sunday. So I called him again on Monday asking for the delivery date, then he said, it will be on Wed 9th April 2014 and he will confirm the time on Tuesday 8th April. He didn't called me again!!, what a wonderful customer service they have..
I called him again on 8th April in the evening and he said the delivery would be on coming Friday or Monday.. keep changes the dates :). I paid money for this kind of customer service.
I completely disappointed, lost hope on these guys and requested them to pay my money back. Fortunately, the gentlemen "Grant" accepted to return my money. I am happy for not making business with this company, who don't think about customers, the responsibility to make sure customer is informed upfront about delivery schedule changes.
Be careful while getting into business with this company.. its ok to pay more and get a good customer service instead of cheaper prices.
Update on 14-Apr-2014: Guys, the sales ppl and owner of this shop are big liers and fraud. The sales person "Grant" told me that they will refund my money back to my credit card and they haven't done it so far. It is almost more than a week and when I called him, he asked to contact my credit card bank for the refund. Be careful about these guys, don't even go there for any business. I have disputed the transaction thru my credit card bank and they are in the process of investigating this.
On the other hand, I found the better furniture [better than the one I chose in this store] in Ashley store in Schaumburg at the price $100 more. It is worth and obsolutely fine to extra 100 $ and get good service, reliable source. Its a good...

If I could give this a zero I would. For everyone having trouble with getting your items, know you aren't alone. Did you finance you purchase like we did and then wait double the amount of time that they promised in store only to be yelled at by a manager on the phone? Great, you are not alone. We waited 2 months for the credit card to dispute it, we made a verbal agreement on time. We explained to staff in store, that we bought from them because they promised half the delivery time of the 4 stores we went to before! They passed the other stores waiting times and refused to break their contract. If they made you a promise, did not keep it or your contract says a different delivery date, fight it with the card company.
They lied to make a sale on black Friday, blamed it on covid (which is not our fault that they cant get an item), had a literal manager scream at us on the phone over the fact this contract is binding (contracts made in good faith, then broken by them not upholding their part can be broken legally.), yelled that I don't know the law, also suddenly had the item in the warehouse at 9 weeks, 5 weeks after you said you would! You also never called us once to say it would be late, we found when we called to cancel it. 0/10 your manager is a real jerk.
ADVICE: Spend the money at an actual company like Ashely Furniture, everything this company sells you is from them anyway. The big difference, if you buy directly from Ashley Furniture they will take items back if you aren't satisfied. Not to mention they will get it faster than a private company like this. Any date they tell you that is faster than Ashley Furniture is a lie, there are other reviews below mine that claim this store did the same thing to them. So please, please don't shop here.    Read moreHere is the deal, if you are looking for cheap affordable furniture and you don't trust online stores, or want to physically see the product before you buy it then this is the place to go, experience will vary per customer, some will rate it high because they went in, ordered and got their stuff on time with no issues and didn't have to deal in person with any issues, some like my self had to deal with issues regardless if it was their own fault, or not (mine was my fault) and then they will have to deal with the only negative side of this place, customer service, place operates with the old mentality that didn't hold the customer on a high pedestal regardless of the situation, which sadly in this day and age is a must have with all the online competition going on, would I go there again? properly not, I didn't like my own experience and it kind of left me with a bitter taste in my mouth and I wouldn't do it again, I waited to write this review because honestly if I did two years ago I'd have given them 1 star, it's cheap but keep in my you get what you paid for, for me the sofas I got barely made it two years before starting to fall flat and have many issues with moderate use but I know that I didn't buy the highest quality furniture so I should have expected that and they are still functional.
