Brownstone Antiques — Local services in Lake View Township

Found this when looking for a coffee table years ago, and went back to Brownstone when my roommate and I were struggling to find affordable dressers that weren't basically cardboard. Not only did we both find multiple dressers that would work perfectly, but they were half the price of similar Ikea dressers. We were elated! The gentleman that helped me was knowledgeable about each piece and I took home something really special. I also snagged some vintage Pyrex, a retro electric percolator, and a cool armchair - there are so many gems in there! Then they set me up with super reasonable next day delivery (especially considering I saved so much on the furniture itself!). To top it off, the delivery guys were SUPER nice and impressively efficient. They moved our pieces up our stairs and right into our rooms. I could not be more happy; will be going back for literally any housing needs in the future!...

This was the third stop of the day on my quixotic hunt for the perfect antique dresser and sturdy but comfortable dining chairs, and I found both here. I had never visited before, but this will be my first stop in the future. It seems so small inside but it is packed full of treasures. It is criminal how reasonable the prices are, and delivery was also quick, reasonably priced, and very professional. Tim even granted a favor for me on one of my purchases that he didn’t have to, but that made my perfect dresser dream a reality. Best antique store—and furniture...

Lovely store full of various antique items. Furniture, glassware, silver trays and platters, and much more. The store keeper who I believe may have been the owner was also very nice and helpful. I found what I was looking for plus an extra item and could have looked a lot longer but would have bought a lot more so had to get out of there lol. Will...
