This was our second time in, but this time my grandma, who has celiac disease, joined us. The entire team at Homegrown Rogers, from the host, to the server, to the kitchen staff, everyone went above and beyond to accommodate her dietary restriction. On top of that, they gave her, and quite frankly me, such peace of mind about what the process was for food preparation. It was obvious that everyone involved understood celiac disease and knows how to provide someone with it a wildly delicious meal without risking terrible side effects of contamination. My grandma said she has never felt so comfortable or accommodated at a restaurant before, in her 30+ years with her gluten allergy. She loved being able to have an entire menu with GF options. The GF pancakes were the best pancakes she's ever had. She even ordered more after downing the first 2. The rest of the food that our table enjoyed was exceptional as well. Love that the eggs seem to be pasture -raised with dark yellow yolks. Everything we had was fresh and just simply delicious, just like I experienced the first time visiting. It's great to eat out and not feel gross after you're finished, even when you eat what could be considered "heavy" food. Our server Adam was remarkable. So kind and attentive. The host (didn't get his name) was also very kind and was the first to explain a bit of the kitchen prep for someone who requires a gluten-free dish. The wait time can be lengthy at peak hrs yes, but clearly it's because they're doing something very well. The online waitlist is a great option! Needless to say, we'll be regular customers. Thank you HG Rogers!
Ps- It has been weeks since we went here, and my Grandma still calls to tell me how much she enjoyed her service...
Read moreI've been in the past and the food is pretty standard. However my experience this morning is prompting me to leave a review. TLDR: Go to Buttered Biscuit or any other great brunch spot in Bentonville instead.
I and a couple friends came in this morning and were seated immediately. Great! Then were promptly ignored for around 15-20min never once receiving water for the table, even a hello from any server or placing a drink order. We watched as server and staff continued to pass by our table serving other guests. The point at which we decided to leave was when a group of about 8 got sat in the same section (not even a table away) a little while after us. They were immediately met by their waitress given water then received their other drinks. Then as more time passed by the waitress came back to their table and took their food order. At that point it was clear we wouldn't be served. We were given a "have a great day" by the same host that had seated us not but 20 min ago. Clearly not served so maybe ask what's wrong instead.
Once we left we went to the Buttered Biscuit Moberly location. They were just as if not more busy than Homegrown, we were seated immediately there as well and our waiter there practically met us at the table.
If you want to compete in an area with so many great brunch...
Read moreI don't have any pictures to add to this as I absolutely inhaled my food, but I will say this, as someone who NEVER leaves reviews I had the overwhelming urge to leave this establishment a review. When I first arrived I was greeted by smiles and promptly seated by a very polite host. I wish I had gotten his name as I would love for him to also receive recognition. Once I was seated it took all but less than 1 minute for my wonderful waiter to arrive! Holy crap Rayshawn you are wonderful, I loved every second of the service you provided! Polite, friendly, intelligent, and an overall star! Also the food here is to die for, I know any business in NWA would strive to be able to put out the quality food this place can deliver. As for any bad reviews I've seen, I acknowledge and understand that people can have unique experiences, however, I would like to point out that we are all human and have bad days and make mistakes and if you don't like that then you should probably not eat anything made by a human;) Also maybe look in the mirror and make sure you weren't the problem when it comes to service. "When you beat a dog don't be surprised if it...
